One thing I think Petrino is not considering is the rhythm between the QB and the rest of the team. It takes time for that rhythm to get established. By changing quarterbacks just as soon as it seems that rhythm has been established is not good coaching.

What is so difficult about the decision?

**How many games has Leftwich won?
**How many games has Harrington won?
**How many touchdowns did Leftwich set up on Nov 18?
**How many touchdowns did Harrington set up on Nov 18?

Does anyone else get the impression that Petrino continues to attempt to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic????

Any coach should be able to know the answers to these questions during the practice week. The idea that Coach Petrino does not know who should be quarterback disqualifies him as a coach in my eyes.

A decent coach could watch players practice for a few minutes and know right away which one had the upper hand.

Pro football is about making money...years past there was a certain pride and satisfaction to winning...today it is all money and The Falcon owner knows to fill the stands (thus make money) you need a certain Quarterback...simple decision on the Falcon owners part.

It doesn't matter who starts at quarterback...the Falcons are not going to win another game this season unless they get lucky and beat the lowly Rams. Prediction...Falcons finish 3-13. And 2008 looks no brighter!! Anyone taking bets that Patrino is back in the college ranks next season. Possibly Michigan or LSU????

You really believe that powerhouses like Michigan or LSU would bring him on after his performance in Atlanta? Look at what happened to Spurrier!
