He wasn't pulled at the 7 because of his goal-line fumbling. He just busted off a long run a needed a breather. He probably would have been pulled if he was inside the 5-yard line for that reason but at the 7 you still can run swing passes and screens so Gore would be the right choice. However, Robinson couldn't seal the deal anyway and it looks like Gore might not lose out at the GL. Careful Kevin- You don't want to kill this young workhorse's confidence by killing him in the media - He will continue to be one of NFL's elite backs this year barring injury -(2 knee reconstructions at the "U"). Its a learning process and Gore will be fine. Remember Tiki Barber's problems? He fixed them and so will Frank.
