"My receivers didn't want to see me running around, they wanted to catch the ball."

I'm sure they really said they wanted a CATCHABLE ball...

That's right..........LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHER!! Maybe NOW you'll learn something!

Besides, he's better off listening to Favre than Childress, if he really wants to make in this league.

I smell cheese. Never mind, that was my dementia kicking in again. I agree, why listen to your coach when you can listen to me. A guy who openly in public on TV doubted his own abilities while retiring twice. I hope these fans still like me when I don't lead them to a Super Bowl.

"Jackson said he can learn how Favre uses his eyes and reads defenses"

I guess trying to read them in Braille has been working so well for TJack.

Did you watch the game on Monday? A-Rod is looking good - no Farve envy from this pack fan.

Trading Tarvaris is a mistake.
This is supposed to be our year and there's a high chance we'll need Tarvaris for part of it. We've got a 40 year-old at the helm who has repeatedly sent out preemptive disclaimers about his endurance.
Thinking about the pending free agency and a mid-low round draft pick next year is foolish.

And ... oh yeah ... Tarvaris is also a good guy who could still be the future of the franchise.

If there is a way I would like to keep all four for awhile-3 of our 4 qb's have already been banged up and it's only pre-season.

I couldn't agree more with Favre. I definitely noticed the last couple of years that Jackson plays much better when he is running around. Maybe he just gets too flustered when he hangs in the pocket.

TJack mentioned the exact thing that he needs to learn from Favre; using his eyes and reading defenses.

supporter: agreed! We all know Favre is gonna hang it up after the season....again! Jackson is on the cusp of being a very solid QB(not great) in this league. He is a restricted FA after this season and resigned for cheap for one more year to show his growth next year. Now I'm not 100% possitive but if another team offers him a contract after the season, the Vikings could let him sign in exchange for a 2nd rnd pick because thats where he was drafted. If Jackson is really willing to let this whole thing play out, the Favre signing could be a blessing in disguise.

I'm sure he'll get the nod against the Cowgirls 2's on Friday and I think its very possible he could put on a show.

So Jackson is being shopped around? Watch Green Bay or Chicago pick him up. Both teams need backup QBs, especially the Bears. Hopefully they'll find a team outside of the conference (Denver)?

I hate this for TJack. Childress has completely mishandled him over the past three years. Instead of bringing in a legit starter in 2007 and letting Jackson get up to speed, Childress 'staged' a QB battle between Jackson and that perennial third string QB Brooks Bollinger. Everyone except Childress knew this was a mistake.

A change of scenery may do Jackson some good, and if he gets better coaching he may turn into a legit starter.

we better hope that the upper mannagement keeps TJ. I say we try and trade Sage. it has got to be that way. too much upside for Jackson, and we all know what Rosenfels has,

T-Joke Quoted: "I don't know what I was thinking. But I won't let that happen again."

How many times have we heard the last line of that quote. The problem is that we continue to see "That" happen over and over and over again.

As a fan I can't handle watching him waste away our opportunity to win now. Trade Ahoy!

Most Packer fans didn't know how to say "Favre" either. They had his name screwed up from the start. It's easy to see that Brett is much more comfortable in Minnesota than he ever was in Green Bay.

Fact of the matter was, TJack has been in his own little world from the start. He's not seeing the big picture on the field, and now as a result of Brett Favre being the starter. I would milk that old cheesehead for everything he's got while I could. That HOFer won't be in the Vikings barn for long and if TJack were smart, he'd be up on the sidelines watching the old Favre magic, instead of "gangsta"ing his hat and pouting on the bench.

Wow! Wearing your hat backwards makes you a "gangsta"?

No guns, no drugs, no illegal money, no organized crime, no rags..........just my hat backwards? Oh, oh, oh. You gotta be black and talk differently, too.

Such logic must make you a flamer. Crawl back in your barn and keep pumpin teets.

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them.
