Easy with the Moss comparisons. Moss is a once in a lifetime WR.

What happened to picking, no character issue guys Brad? You start out by saying we aren't going to take guys that have issues and then you pick a guy who just failed a drug test he knew he was going to take it, he's either dumb or stupid. I personally don't care as long as he doesn't rape, molest or kill anyone, but your a hypocrite when you say that you looking for character guys and take someone who does illegal drugs. Kudos on the guys drafted, I like both of them, although, I think Michael Oher and Brian Robiske would've been just as good. Please give up the character guy line though, your just doing what you need to in order to save your job. As I said, Harvin is a great talent, hopefully we put a week clause in his contract so he doesn't see his career go up in smoke.

I love the picks. Harvin is a human highlight reel, and loadholt is.... well..... quite a load. Here's to the Vikes putting up more points this coming year! Nice additions to compliment AP!!

Harvin already said he would put a clause in and chill out on the hypocrite stuff...the vikes have enough solid vets to help these kind of kids along...perfect timing! You want boy scouts? join a troop.

This was a good draft for vikings. Harvin will not only fill the void at second receiver or slot receiver but he will also be a good return man which we have not had one forever. And I like that we didn't pick a offensive lineman in the first round because I've always believed that you could get one in the second round and be just as good. Good draft. Now second day should be all defensive players.

I have no complaints at all with what the Vike's accomplished here. I would have preferred QB/WR White over Harvin (who I think could have played a similar role w/o the character issues) but there is no denying what Harvin can bring to the Vikings. Harvin was just too talented to pass up. Loadholt is HUGE, blocked in a very similar scheme at Oklahoma and should fit in nicely......

I predict that Loadholt will be the starting RT. I predict that Ryan Cook will move back to his natural positionof center. I predict he'll compete for the starting center position against Sullivan and he'll win.

I will now commence to pat myself on the back for predicting the first 2 rounds accurately. It absolutely was the best scenario for the Vikes and will pay many dividends this year.

Now I expect that they really have the luxury of picking the best player available in the remaining rounds. Probably emphasis on more help at db,dl or c if they are a fortune to have positions fall to them like yesterday

I also thought Harvin was going to be the pick based on a couple of things. One, they need the most impact player they can get for a team that is ready to make a run NOW -- not hope a WR can pan out in a couple of years. And secondly, Klink might think this is his year to either make it or get fired (rightly so), so looking down the road for him might not be 20/20.

One thing is for sure, defenses seriously have to fear him. He's got unbelievable talent. YAC should be awesone as well as return yards. This should be fun to watch.

Still going to be fun to watch how this organization is going to explain the bypassing of charactor issues involved in this.

Why does god hate me so much? This draft has turned out to be absolutely horrible. I just don't understand how you can be so ridiculously stupid and take Percy Harvin in the first round and then hit gold in the second.

My sentiments also. Good post. Lets win some games. I smoked pot once, didn't ruin me. Stupid, yes, but kids will try anything once.

I can just see it now a 5 yd bomb to Harvin from tjoke with 8-9 in the box. Like Sam said above Oher and Robiske would have been a better fit Oher is ready to play, Loadholt gets beat by speed rushers robiske can run all the routes and catches the ball with his hands and gets yards after the catch and neither have character issues. "Save my arse Harvin!" begs chilldog...!!!!

Alot of posters for the last few months have been hollerin' for immediate impact players saying that The Vikes are made to win NOW. Well, day one has brought two potential immediate impact players. So alot of posters had some of their wishes met.

Harvin changes the whole dimention as to how opposing Defenses are going to have to line up. For that matter, so does "The Load".- Remember: Loadholt will be practicing against a pretty damn good rushing defense. Now Cook has a chance to compete at center. A damn good Day One at the draft, IMO.- As far as Percy and weed goes, maybe they should find out what he smokes, and buy some for the rest of the offense. Did you see his highlight reels?(just kidding on the pot thing, before people start yellin' about it)

Great!! Cool!!! Good Job!!!
My thanks and congratulations to Mr.Chidress for signing someone who will be able to provide us with more headlines and fodder for articles.
Seriously, my hat is off to you, you dick.
Do you have memory issues? Character Issues? Drug issues? Its okay I'm sure you can get new medications from your players.

While the picks were solid. let's not forget that Childress and Bevell are CLUELESS on play calling. Harvin's talent will be wasted on this team until Childress is fired!
