He got off easy......

should have been suspended for a couple of games without pay plus a higher fine.

He shouldn't have been fined at all. Ben shouldn't have bumped him from behind running his mouth inciting a reaction. I assume thats why they made it a minimal fine. They saw it that way too.

He should have been suspended. Ben was suspended for 4 games for a "crime" that he was never charged with. Besides that, the NFL either needs to get serious with these fines or get out of the way. One fine is $7500, one $25000, one $50000. The amounts don't seem to correspond with the hits.

Are you comparing a criminal act to a reaction with an open face slap(can't call it a punch as his hand was open)? Regardless if he was charged....Seymour shouldn't even have been fined. They (nfl) wants to protect the QB...but when the QB incites a reaction the QB should be fined...not the player that reacted to the inciting.

we are not in kindergarden dude. sticks and stones rhyme ring any bells? you play whistle to whistle. seymour should have been fined a game check. 25k is chump change to a millionaire.
