Last year's "below-average" team yielded 5 wins. Taking that into consideration, factor in scheduling, and finally add an "average" quarterback and the Raiders could be looking at an 8 win season. With the AFC West looking like a pedestrian division,.500 just might get into the playoffs.
The Raiders really aren't trying to win the Super Bowl in the upcoming season. But they are trying to get back to respectability. Having Jason Campbell on the field means opposing teams will actually have to PLAY THE GAME when they play the Raiders.
