great job indeed...now, don't let that genius of a coach stop you from doing what needs to be done come game time...15 years of experience should account for something ( klink could...dare i say it...be around for double that ) and would know as much then as he does today...nada, rien, zero, zilch...go gussy and GO VIKES!!!

With 15 years of experience Gus has earned the freedom to audible out of bad plays without his coaches getting all insecure and a "I'm the boss around here" kind of attitude. Run whatever the hell play it takes to win no matter whose idea it is. I doubt Childress, and for sure Bevel, know how to tailor a gameplan and offense to the strengths of the players. It just doesn't show it on the field. Every once in a while I see it but I think it's more blind luck than any tactical plan.

Not all INTs are the QB's fault. It should have been noted that the Pick Six against Houston was Berrian's fault for not catching the pass that bounced off his chest.

Gotta hand it to Gus. He's the wrong kind of QB for the team,(not mobile enough)Getting kinda old for the $h!t, and he STILL manages to look pretty damn good.(Like all players, he has a bad game sometimes)- Despite the bumps in the road, like Klink, he drives on. Gus is a pretty okay dude. Gotta hand it to him.- Holy $h!t!, I hope "Y.O.T.L." above is some kind of joke. If you're a Lions fan, then you're about as rare here as an albino Black Bear.

Gimme- I doubt JD is ready for another year or so, possibly not then. He's a bright guy, was good at USC, but as you know, the NFL's a different animal. We should still have Tyler Thigpen. He'd be ready hear next year. Even more than a QB, we need a motivating, unpredictable game planner, play caller and authorization to audibleize.

He better take care of the ball this weekend, the way the Pack secondary has been playing. Then again, if AD runs the ball a ton, he may not have to pass much.
