Another thing we need out of Jackson is toughness. The guy was kind of a puss last year missing 4 games and taking himself out of that one game. Christ, the guy in one year missed more games than Manning and Favre have in their combined careers. He definitely needs to toughen up.

Maybe Henderson has worked on his tuck and roll into the QB for tonights matchup against Hasselpunk. Remember how he whined when EJ hit him low? I believe he said that it was obvious that the Minnesota Defense was trying to hurt him. I just wish that they treated every QB like Matt.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jackson play a full 16 this year (and maybe a couple more playoffs) and one thing i liked at the end of last year that i hope he continues with is if the pass isn't there tuck it and run he could be a great running QB.

Definitely as long as he is not a fumbling wreck!

Yeah, it's finally here. No Favre distractions. Just the Minnesota Vikings. I think the naysayers are going to be surprised. These guys are our quarterbacks and the VIKES will be awesome this year. GO VIKES!!

As always, it's always about the Booty!!!!! TJ is a no talent bum who doubles as a baby, trade him and Chili to GB for a couple of sideline heaters and a half dozen balls......

Booty should be playing ahead of Bollinger. We already know what that clown can(not) do.

All I know is its been way to many years since the Vikings have had a decent QB and the four the Vikes have this year don't impress me.

t-jack is still learning, nobody really knows anything about booty except he can make the short passes, and say whatever you want about frerotte and bollinger because i really don care about either one of them. and besides, we dont need a peyton manning type QB. all t-jack needs to do is play average and we will definitely compete this year. especially with the additions that we made to our defense with jared allen and madieu williams.

What do you people have against TJ. He has the arm for the deep pass everyone wants ( all he needs is receivers that run deep and catch), He does well in the pocket (as long as the OL protects him a little bit. Last year the defences packed so many in the box he was running like mad) This year will be a different story. There is a deep threat reciever that can catch now and an improved offensive line. I guess we will see during the first quarter of the game tonight.

No, because if Childress wants to keep his job......he'll get a different #1.

Enough with the Booty talk already. He's suited to be a 3rd stringer this year. He would be a complete disaster if he were to be starting in the NFL right now. No different than almost every other rookie QB that has tried to start an NFL game. He was a highly touted high schooler and played for a major college program, but most of the hype comes from the fact that he followed in the footsteps of Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. None of the previously mentioned attributes count for much in the NFL. He may amount to something with some seasoning, but I'm afraid he has nothing to contribute this year.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
