He was "shown the door" by Brewster and has been reassigned in the athletic dept. and is still getting paid. Coaches that resign do not get paid, if they are let go and are under contract they get paid. If that is not correct please let everyone know.
Too bad Brewster did not do a nationwide search for his DC. As you he stated above, its a process, its a perfect opportunity to talk to guys. Why isn't he in Nashville at the coaching convention? All the coaches are down there. Marcus if you get a chance, ask Brewster who were all the candidates that he interviewed in the nation wide search for a DC.
You stated that Jeff Horton brought in guys who weren't highly acclaimed and won with them at Wisconsin. Just so you know, he did not win with them, he was there when they had the stud running backs and the QB's very seldom threw the ball.
If he was so good why did Scott Linahan not have him as an OC or at least a QB coach. Jim Haslett, who worked with him on the same staff demoted horton to offensive line coach. "Killer Choice....who will knock your socks off"? What coach (who is any good) in their right frame of mind would want to be a coordinator with two other guys? We will know shortly, and it will be "let the circus begin".
