I'm thankful for wonderful men like Brian Waters. I am the mother of an autistic child. I have had contact with several Chiefs and they have all been more than willing to help out and make a difference.

Thanks to Brian, Kimble Anders, Anthony Davis, Derron Cherry, and Gary Stills. A real man makes a difference off of the field.

Actually, if the fans of Kansas City think about it, having the most Chiefs win the Man of the Year award than any other franchise is much more important than Super Bowl wins to the health and well-being of the community. Congratulations Brian Waters!!

And, I am a Chiefs fan since almost the beginning. Even through the worst of times.

Chiefs fan through the worst of times. First of all, it sucks to be you if you're a fan. You said worst of times, well get use to it, because there will be PLENTY more. You people in KC have very little or no standards at all! There is no pro team in that city worth a $%%%! But you knuckleheads still support them.

It's truly unfortunate you feel the need to slam someone for being a fan. Could it be because you don't have any ties or loyalties to any team or city? Can you not just be proud of what Brian Waters has accomplished for the people of this city through his foundation? Or is it that you can't because he's part of a team that you consider inferior? I pity you for your feelings and your vitriol.

Dont llet the moron inbred Bear get to you, he is someone that thinks Detroit is the best team in football that shows how smart he is. He gets on here and tells everyone what a dirtbag city kc is and hes from detroit go figure that out, even refered how funny it was when a lady got killed in a road rage accident. He has what is called little big man syndrom who hides behind a computer screen. I like you Verdyhave been a fan since the start of the Cheifs and have 8 season tickets and wont be getting ride of them like the other half ass fans that got rid of their's. Go Chiefs

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that about him. We're all allowed to cheer for whatever team we want (including the really awful ones), so he needs to realize that. And KC is not as bad a city as he thinks. If it's really that bad, then maybe he should go back to where he's most happy. If there is such a place.

Thanks again for the supportive post.

Your welcome Verdy, this clown Bear started off his isp as Taylor Mi. then it was Greenfield Mo. then Eldardo Springs Mo. and now Collins Mo. but refers to being from the the north. Hell when we had the storm at Christmas he said it was raining in K.C. when it was a blizzard outside. Anyway i say Go Chiefs they will be much better this year and i will be there to see it.

Cheer for me too - I won't be there in person - gave up the season tickets when we moved to OKC a long while back (and I cheered for them even then and also when we lived in Houston during the "Luv Ya Blue" hoopla) but am still a fan. I'm so very proud of the community service committed in the name of the Chiefs by not only the players, but the cheerleaders and the front office. Here's hoping they keep that tradition alive! Thanks again.
