How about we give the man the benefit-of-the-doubt AND see what he can do THIS SEASON? Injuries and personal problems were MAJOR distractions for Urlacher the fast few years.
How about we ALL move forward???
You must have been one of those who paid money for a Urlacher autographed jersey.
OVERATED...
When Urlacher has a great season-
I don't want you here under another screen name singing his praises ok
The trib makes it too easy for you kooks to run in and out of these posts under multiple names with your snarky comments.
THIS IS A NEW season. I expect a better season from Urlacher and the Bears PERIOD. Perhaps if you got your head out your backside and tried to get behind the man and the team instead of pooh-pooh him, maybe the team would fare better.
New Year New Season
Trade him now...You can sucker someone for a good deal.

I'll believe it when I see it. The Bears are a defensive team, always have been, always will be!!

Even when they had that GREAT SEASON in 1985, it was the defense who put the offense in GREAT Field postion, 95% of the time. 95% of the time, the Bears offense was operating from their 40 yard line or better!!!

When Buddy Ryan came to Philadelphia, his motto was: Offense, give us a touchdown, and we'll (the defense) will do the rest. It was a great formula, we just couldn't win that Superbowl under Ryan. We lost to you guys in that FOG BOWL, but that was because and only because Keith Jackson drops the ball in the end-zone!! If Keith doesn't drop that ball, Eagles win, and go to the Superbowl, and Philadelphia captures its first Superbowl. It didn't happen, and that's history!!

I don't know how good Cutler will be in Chicago, Chicago has historically been a hard City for quarterbacks to thrive in. I do know that for the Bears to thrive, their defense has to be 100%!! If the Bears have defensive breakdowns and lapses, then their chances for success dimish exponentially.
