I agree with floyd, you bash orton while lauding cutler too much.......
you will learn this yr that your teamitis is fine, but not for discussions where people have opinions other than yours.........

No QB looked better than Orton did the first 6 games of last year? you are joking, correct?
Again, i don't want to re-hash all that stuff. Let's say I give you that Orton is a quality starting QB (even though I gagged while I was typing that). You have to admit his weakest area was trying to accurately throw th long ball, and that our biggest threat at WR was a speedster who's biggest threat was...running the field to catch a long ball.

are you done crying about your opinion?
and whats the difference anyway, yours or mine? zip is all it is worth... just write and be happy about your opinion.

and you wrote,
"you bash orton while lauding cutler too much" ..........
now there's a statement..........
why woundn't any long time Bear fan not do this ???? we haven't had a QB in f-years, and you want to whine as if that opinion sounds strange.

just let ppl write ... write your piece ~~ but pls. don't bash others for voicing theirs ...

BEARS WIN, plain and simple ...
my opinion ...bfd

math wasn't my major, but with only 4 division teams wouldn't there be only 6 games, so 4-2 is possible not 6-2?

Very true. Typing wasn't my major.

Would you like to re-write that post so it makes some sense? Teamitis? wtf is that? I was talking about Orton. I'm not sure i have really even mentioned Cutler other tha n to say he can throw downfield more accurately then Orton. If that is "bashing Orton too much and lauding Cutler too much" then you will learn quickly that message boards are the wrong place for you.

I think an important question to ask is whether or not the addition of Cutler will limit the 3 & outs that we have seen so many times over the last 5 years. In my opinion, the reason our defense has not been as dominant has been the number of minutess they have been on the field. A defense on the field 40 + minutes a game is going to age quickly.

BINGO !!! finally someone else see's the light ... easy to see why Viking fans and Bronco fans need try to stir a fuss on our web site ~~ they're real scared of the next "Greatest Show on Earth" ... last one was in 1985.

Than DIABETES thing JC has is really over-rated. He'll be fine as long as he uses that illegal insulin pump he has hidden behind Kruetz' zipper. Watch him kneel in the huddle. He ain't calling plays

uhh....who was that? Are you talking about the Bears? The CHICAGO Bears??

I don't think we've had such a receiver since Bernard Berrian, have we? Not sure we have one right now either!!

We'll see, rock on, Stratmaster! p.s. it sure does blow that Chicago Tribune dumped Topix!

The Orton fan club is blind to his limitations and greatly exaggerate his strengths. Floyd probably didn't understand "The Emperor's New Clothes" when he had to read it in grade school either.
the fact the bears went out and got cutler should be more then enough as far as what the bears thought of the whole orton-grossman fiasco seeing how much they paid for him.

short version: orton-grossman sucked big time for different reasons on the bears.
