Give St.Pierre a solid chance--he won't disappoint. He has great leadership skills amd just needs some opportunities to make some big plays.

Rothersberg won't be missed. The Steelers need to be more concerned about their Running Game. Batch puts more zip on the ball but is not as good on the run.

The running game will be fine with Willie Parker and Duce Staley in the backfield. Roethlisberger will be back to take us to the promise land. GO STEELERS!!

St.Pierre is a bum and Tommy Maddox, well lets just say he's an indoor football player and just leave it there. Hell that ass wipe couldn't win with the Steelers before, what the hell would change.
The only out you'll see Roethlisberger involved in will be a few knock outs. This kid is the real thing and still learning. He will be with the Black and Gold long after their new coach is long gone.

We still have Big Ben.(This article was referring to last year when he was injured and we needed a back up behind Charlie Batch--just in case).

If this new coach were to be as stupid as to let big ben go anywhere , he should be shot in head! Bad enough that Porter is gone to the compitition.

It's hard to sit back and watch the other teams in the AFC North get stronger every year , while the Steelers Org. do nothing but let our key players walk. We need a true threat back at wide reciever,Hines Ward can't do it alone!!!!!!!

I agree about Porter, but it just made good since to let him go. First, the knees are going and they are only going to get worst. Second, we have two OLBs that can replace him (Harrison and Harrison). The word on the street is that Timmons(FSU) is on the radar screen as a first rounder. We will be fine.

Porter was good because the Steelers allowed him to be. The Steelers are excellent when it comes to training and grooming linebackers and the way our defense is set up permits them to shine. Remember Kendrell Bell? He was great with us, but now you hardly hear anything about him with the Chiefs. Porter might not drop off the planet like Bell, but I don't think he'll see the same success as he did when he was with us. In the meantime, the Steelers will look for a replacement who will give us the same talent Porter did.
