It would have been 45-0 if Chad
Johnson had another 260 yard game
3 touchdown performance but instead he got 125 on 6 receptions.

Frye may be a decent quarterback someday - if he ever stops staring down his receivers - can read one defensive play - doesn't hold on to the ball until he gets sacked. When was our last offensive touchdown? It is not all Charlies fault - busted up line - lousy play calling. I blame the Browns organization. They are doing to Frye what they did to Couch. Throw him in the fire way too soon.

It was plain just bad Football yesterday. You can't evaluate Charlie as a Quarterback if he constantly running for his life. Do I think he is the right guy as a starter, NO. He can be a good backup though and that is not to knock his abilities. But like I said, we will never know if he can be the guy without the opportunity of a pocket to throw from. It is bad coaching (not just from Crennel) but all the coaches and players not doing their jobs. Their is plenty of blame to go around with this team. Oh yeah, When Braylon Edwards can become the player that Terrel Ownes is, then he can have the right to act like the idiot that T.O. always will be.

The fact that Charlie isn't hurt yet is something in its own. He is constantly on the run - imagine Justin Smith and Sam Adams on your butt every play - then think what kind of passes you are throwing. The best quarterbacks in the league (Peyton, Brady) all have great protection. There isn't a quarterback that can take the beating that Charlie does week in and week out and achieve a passer rating over 90. You just can't play that position efficiently if you are questioning your protection every play.

The reason that the pressure is so fierce on Frye is not just the fault of the line. I read all of these discussion boards and all I see is Frye has to go, etc. Where are the Droughns comments? The running game is embarrassing. This is a guy who has run for under 500 yards through nine or so games. We need to develop a running game - this will take the pressure off of our young players (Frye, Edwards, Winslow).

Charlie is a young, inexperienced quarterback - but we need to stop throwing these quarterbacks under the bus after a few losses. We are the ones who demanded the front office to pull Dilfer. That is the story in Cleveland. We, as fans, our destroying these quarterbacks by yanking them for a fresh face. We need to realize that maybe our problem isn't the QB - let's let these guys get used to the system and give them the time they need to gain experience and prove themselves as leaders - because giving a QB one/two seasons to develop a winning team from this mess of players is impossible. This is something that needs to take time. We, fans of the Cleveland Browns need to sit back and let this team build on its own – let’s stop calling for blood and let them evolve like football players. Don’t give up – they didn’t build Rome in one day.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
