GREEN BAY, WIóBrett Favre beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday for the second time this season, his decisive 38-26 victory exacting some small measure of revenge for the adulation and hero worship heaped upon him by the city of Green Bay and the entire state of Wisconsin for the better part of two decades.
"It feels good to finally get retribution from the team that gave me my first chance to start, believed in me despite the pitfalls of my early career, and ensured I will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer," Favre said at a postgame press conference. "And to do it in front of those fans, who unconditionally loved me through thick and thin while I struggled with a Vicodin addiction and disastrous interceptions, just made it that much sweeter.
Sixteen long years of devotion, and they're finally getting what they deserve." Favre mentioned that when he does retire, he is looking forward to "really sticking it" to the wife and daughters whose loving presence has been the one constant during his playing career.

you all keep bashing the D-lineman for getting stripped, bottom line is we still won and when B-Rob is picked up by an NFC rival WE WILL MISS HIM!!
An earlier post said the linemen are taught to pick up fumbles instead of falling on it and just protecting the ball. Well, if that is the case then either Robison was not taught how to carry the ball or he missed that session. The reason for his fumbling the ball was directly related to his carrying his new found possession in his right hand instead of his left hand to keep the ball away from his pursuers. Receivers & runners are always told to switch the ball to the hand away from potential tacklers. That is why big lineman should just fall on the ball. They are not trained to be running backs.

Yeah Jared Allen looked awesome against that 3rd string tackle of Green Bay's in that Monday Night Game....but Robison is the most athletic D-line man we have...As long as Frazier is there Edwards will start, last year Robison was backing up both sides..for some reason(favoritism??) he isn't playing on Ray's side as much as he was last year...I've seen Farve,Peterson,Taylor and the rest of the best on our team fumble in critical situations...you all keep bashing the D-lineman for getting stripped, bottom line is we still won and when B-Rob is picked up by an NFC rival WE WILL MISS HIM!!
Robison is the most athletic?!? Based on what?

He's the smallest of all the Vikings d-linemen, barely bigger than most middle linebackers.

Coaches say he lacks the physical endurance to hold up for a whole game, which is why Edwards is the full time player.

Seriously, that's a really dumb statement. Unless you personally know Robison and all the other defensive lineman and have run them through extensive drills in your own backyard, you would have no way of knowing about his supposed athleticism.

I just busted you b*llsh*tting. Go away now.

I,ve got to agree with Robison on this issue. If he and other subs could play the better part of the 3rd quarter we might have better production of stopping offenses in the 4th. Allen is playing hard but he and others like Henderson and Edwards appear to be slower. I think the vikings need to arrive at the 4th quarter with the freshest starters possible.

Robison also ran into a teammate in another game going for a kickoff, he was lucky to come up with it that time.
Runners and receivers are taught to put the ball into the hand away from the defenders, and usually in the right hand when going right, and the left when running left, using the sidelines as well. Good call

....Their combine numbers,What they have done in college...I guess you DON'T KNOW!

....He has played at 260 to 285 lbs...undersized?...maybe shorter than 6'6" but I do not see undersized.

...Has he ever played a full game??And If he did (I dont think so) was he playing full-time special teams too?Dude,Edwards sucks!! The Vikings need Jared Allen playing Edward's side and Robison playing Allen's side.....Problem solved!!

Agree with every poster on here who says trade him. Trade for a "Browner" type S, or trade up in the draft for a QB who can learn under Favre next year.
