Vikings effort gave Brad a one week reprieve from being fired. Fans' message to Brad: "simply win". You've got lots of talent on the team. Use it to the max. Good luck on the rest of the season.

Hmm. So, the reporter is saying that Klink made a good decision by benching Allen and Edwards? Who woulda thunk?

The D and Frasier are as resonsible fot the teams poor performance as Childress and the ofeense is. Frasier needs to get creative and start trusting the corners. If you don't give a QB time the corners don't have to cover so long. Case in point - last week when Tate broke lose for the long TD was because Brady had all day to throw - no pressure. Frasier will not do any better than Brad as a head coach.

All right, now, I don't want them to gain *another yard!** You blitz... all... night!* If they cross the line of scrimmage, I'm gonna take every last one of you out! You make sure they remember,*forever*, the day they played the Vikings!

Leave no doubt!!!!!

They say that passing defense starts with a pass rush but when defensive backs actually stay within reach othe the receivers, it causes the QB to have to hold on to the ball longer, allowing the pass rush to get to him. That happened yesterday. Sure, there was a few 3rd and long plays that the defensive backs got lost on but in the 2nd half, the defensive backs got a clue and stayed with their man, allowing Edwards and Allen to do their thing. Lets hope it continues down in Chicago~ ;)

In addition to the sacks the defense stopped the run when they had to. something they failed to do a few times this year. Especially last week against the Pats.

The T2 baseline D that the Vikes run is predicated on front 4 pressure as 2 of 3 backers are dropping underneath to protect the belly of the duecee. By switching out of it for a while they jammed up the blocking schemes...key for T2 pressure is the 3t tackle, Kevin WIlliams...if he cannot bull rush his gap, then there is a pocket for the QB to get to.
They have some momentum now and will be up against an aging and patched together O-Line in Chicago who expose Cutler with deep drops and no reads...hopefully they can duplicate what the Giants did with a similar group of defensive linemen.

Vikes: it's time to wake up don't you think. We want lots of win, not lots of drama nor excuses.

The same Cards who have wins over New Orleans, Oakland, and at St Louis..and should have beat Tampa. Better win then you give credit for considering they did everthing they could do to lose despite absolute statistical domination.

Andy no matter how you spin it, the Vikings are not the Giants. You only wish that they could play like the Giants.

Ba Bears 2010 have wins over Buffalo, Carolina, and Dallas whose combined records at this time are 2-22, add in Detroit, albeit a fine team but still 2-6..that leaves the Green Bay game as the quality win...and it took 20 flags on the Packers to ensure a 20-17 win....not a lot to roost about although Buffalo played the Ravens tough and are better than 0-8...another similarity is that the Giants were in the process of stinking up the joint early in the season until the Martz show gave them the opportunity to fatten up on the Bears O-Line....I like the Vikes chances and yes the Vikes front four is as good if not better than the Giants front four...not even resurrecting the Coach will save the Bears from their grim reality...even the Bear Faithful are cringing this year...I have yet to hear anything positive in the press or at the cooler about this Bear Bunch...peel the onion over there in Elgin.
