I hear that place gets kind of loud sometimes.

Maybe they are used to loud stadiums by now?

On the flip side, our D should be able to communicate rather easily. If we pound the rock 25 times with AP the noise will be meaningless, and it will demoralize the crowd......and then the players will feed off of what......? This game needs to be won by our O line.

I still think they should've hired 60,000 people, paid them a thousand a piece and have them go to the Dome when they were practicing and scream their hearts out at the appropiate times. The Wilf's could afford it and it would have been a boon for the local economy while helping the Vikes more realistically.

The Vikes should be used to pumped in crowd noise, that's all the dome is, artificial crowd noise when the opposing team is on offense. Now let's see how they handle it. Vikes are sooo overrated.

Favre's old and deaf, so crowd noise does not affect him.

The "new" ear plugs are supposed to filter out some of the high decibels..I would rather see Childress wake up to the following facts....(1) He is setting Peterson to far in the backfield when running a play...It takes Favre forever to give Adrian the hand off....Give Kleinsasser the day off from tight end and have him block the defence coming around the corner barreling straight for Favre...In other words, Double-team....Take the Head Set away from Childress before he screws up the play calling (again)...

Ironic that Viking players are complaining about the noise. This is the same bush-league organization that pumps amplified noise into the Metrodome during games.

The last "joke" in the article is a greeting card I bought once with three old men on a beach--and I mean EXACT wording. Rip off writer...

What, reading comprehension not your strong suit?

I said that "pump(ing) amplified noise into the Metrodome during games" is bush league. Other than that and, well, their lame stadium, weak game day experience, history of colossal on field failures, off field crime waves, an owner pleading poverty for a stadium, bandwagon fans, imminent black-outs and head coach caught scalping Super Bowl tickets, nothing, I guess.

Someone should give Mike Tice a call. Because the only way the hapless Vikings will ever get to the Super Bowl is with a ticket.

This year included.

Yeah, it's history.

It's their history. And much of it remains unchanged.

That's why they're a bush league franchise, Sweet Pea.

And will alway's be.

Run along now. The adults are talking.

Off subject Aren't we a little guys! The truth is the dome will be loud! The other truth is the Vikings in the second half of the Bears game made a full shift to Favre calling the plays more on the field than scripted plays from the staff. They almost pulled that game out! Favre fought with the coach, fixed the issue and moved on! I really think that this moment was the changing point in the season for us. We smoke the Bears in the second half of that game. Then we took care of the Giants, and Cowboys!Very nicely! The team has not looked back since. Pass first and clean up with the run game. The defensive front four wow! Brings back the thoughts of the purple people eaters! I hope others don't take this personal, but I like the name "The Purple Quake". When the crowed stared rumblen and stumbling loud as the front four were making a sack. The camera guy would start shaking and moving the picture shot slightly like an earth quake. Go Vikings! I hope we keep are heads on straight, with a good game plan. Peterson you have to bring it!
