well bottom line it was jackson's job even if favre came he still had to beat people out, jackson's going to have a banner year for them and sage might not see the field.....most everyone think he can't but from where i sit he has all the tool's and last year help him , it was some what his fault in the playoff game but the stake in the heart of that game was matt birk fumble, check it out they replay the game on nfl network and it was 16 to 14 game with 3 mintes left when he miss snap's the football, but that all the past....thank goodness birk land elsewhere...13 - 3 the vikings i don't care if grandma's the qb....lol

Look on the bright side, we do not have a quality QB. This is Childress' last year of contract (I believe) So this might be the end of the Jackson experiment, The Childress coaching era and the end of the Vikings finishing with a (close to).500 season.

What the heck do you expect him to say? "Yeah, I am really resentful of the Vikings mgmt and coaches. Why would they bring me here only to try to go and get Favre. What the hell were they thinking? I think I will take my helmet and shoulder pads and sulk on the sidelines. Childress can suck my hot dog!"

They'll be better without Favre's interceptions but they do not have a QB now. Neither Jackson or Sage are good enough to get the job done. Now that the Bears have a QB, it's gonna be a while until the purple make the playoffs again.

I don't want to hear another word about brett favre. This is downright humiliating. When he didn't sign right away, the Vikings should have been very wary. This prima dona is a genuine flaming you know what! Now the Vikes can go out and prove that we didn't need the puke in the first place!!! This guy is now hated more than ever.

At least Sage is man enough to discuss it himself and not ignore calls or emails. Sage will win this job because he wants it more. He stayed in MN most of off-season to learn.....where's TJ? We have seen enough of Jackson to know he has great physical skills but does not have IT. And by "IT" I mean a freakin clue. As far as hurt feelings by Sage or TJ......get over it. You are overpaid pro athletes with egos to match. Man-up and do something about it or leave with your tail between your legs. No one has sympathy for any of you. Childress owes no explanation to anyone.

It's pretty sad 4 years into B.C.'S TENURE and we still don't have a proven QB...Sage isn't bitter who cares, he hasn't thrown 1 pass in a purple uni.yet...T.J.has nothing to cry about,he's had many years to prove himself...go Booty???

I absolutely agree. either buck up and actually earn the job or get gone. Neither one of these QB's has actually got anything to hang their helmets on so prove that you deserved the respect of not being undermined with a hall of fame QB and you'll get your props. If not you'll be gone in.... well, 2 years.

Strictly business, kids. Farve would sell tickets and help the Wilfster avoid TV blackouts which was and will continue to be a risk with Jackson at QB, a player who is continually overwhelmed by the speed and complexity of the NFL game. Great physical skills but without the cognitive skills required to play the NFL game at a competitive level. TC blackouts here we come!

Childress was left at the altar by his dream Queen, now, he has to marry one of her fat ugly sister because he has no choice.
I wish we would fire him, he is a disgrace to this organization and put our team in a no-win situation. Get the hell out of here Childress!!!
