Gotta love Allen's method of addressing an accusation.

The third degree AC Sprain is extremely painful, it takes almost two weeks just to get full range of motion back and about another week for the pain to go away when doing so. My guess is Allen will start on Sunday and PT will be determined by how he feels after a series or two.

PB, I agree with your assessment. I don't see anything keeping Allen from playing albeit part time. He will take the pain killer shot and then be in on 3rd down situations... Vikes can't go down two games to GB in the standings which would happen if they lose.

On a side note, it was nice to see Sid the kid back. Berrian, RIce and Allison (all pretty tall and talented) make a more formidable WR core then Berrian and Wade imo..... I would rather see a 3 WR set and AD solo in the backfield then 2 WR's and GiantHead#38 in front of AD..

Dude needs to suck it up. Coach's job and Vikes season is on the line. Loose this one and I can honestly say they need to go for draft picks and start looking at hiring a new coach.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tahi is the odd man out as Rice gets worked back into the offense. This offense has the best chance to excel if Rice can produce opposite Berrian with Wade being the #3 receiver. The Vikes could then run three receiver sets with more regularity and still run the ball effectively as Rice and Wade are both excellent run blockers. Shinacoe is also a good in-line blocker and is becoming more relaiable in the passing game.

Getting Rice back was a nice boost. While the receiving corps is still average overall, I think Rice is developing into the combination of speed and skill that is lacking in Allison and Wade. Wade doesn't have much explosiveness, and Allison draws too many interference flags - he needs to get in touch with Chris Carter if he's going to try and game it. Anyway, I'm hoping to see more quick slants and play action against the Pack. I agree that three-receiver sets would be nice, spread the field. Oh, and trick plays, let's mix it up here. We could even throw in that guy who's been known to make a pass or two, I think his name was Jackson. Might as well use him for something. What it really comes down to though is whether we can get AD going. The pack is vulnerable to the run, I think we can light them up, but we will need a couple of big passing plays if and when they stack the line.
As for defense, my main concern is Griffin. I have a feeling they're going to try and nibble us to death throwing to his side. Also part of that, we need to get pressure, we had no sacks against them last time and Rogers completed 18 of 22. We're not necessarily in trouble without Allen as long as the rest of the line steps up. I gotta say I'm looking forward to Sunday. For whatever reason, I have a feeling Chilly is going to figure it out against the pack. If he doesn't... well, you fill in the blank.

IMO, the keys to beating GB is getting pressure on Rogers, hitting him hard early. Philly, Pittsburg Baltimore and the Giants all have aggressive D-Coordinators who blitz like hell and they are successful. Jared will be missed if he is kept from playing. Driver is a stud and needs attention similar to what Andre Johnson got last week. Sharper looked like shat last week, except for his leap on the onside kick.

Open up with a passing attack then establish the run with AD. Not the opposite. Chili needs to be creative , it is his do or die week. Lose to the fudgees and he will be gone at the end of the year.

If Chilli goes 0-6 against the Packers then at the end of the year it is time for him to go. I was hoping that Mike Martz would come to town next year but his 49's offense has not looked good, but I have not seen enough of them to know why. His offense usually seems to be synonomous with creativity, explosiveness, using the back well and one that the players like. It worked really well with the RAMS, well for the 1st 8 games with the Lions last year with soso talant. WE definately need a better offensive mind with this team to get the most and not the least out of what we have. --- I hope we win this week, but if we do not if it lead to Chilli being FIRED at the end of the year then its not so bad. Lose this game and the chances of winning the division are slim and that still is the goal of the ownership. They are confident that Chilli can do it.

Last week we got to look at another QB that the Vikes wanted, but not bad enough. Did he look better than Gus? Yes and no. Did he look better than TJ, yes.

In a sad year so far I take comfort where I can.

Old Brad & BB being the Cowboys 2-3 QB's priceless.

Thanks to a spy cam he planted, Brett is faxing the Packer game plan in to Winter Park right now. Gotta love that guy.

lmfao, The only way the Cheese heads win this game is if they start throwing punch's, Kicks, late hits and roughing people up after the play is over as usual. And if the Williams brothers get suspended along with the loss of Jared Allen.
The Cheese heads are the dirtiest team in the league going " no where ".
And again they want to immortalize an average Quarterback as their God. hahahahaha Here we go again, another god in Green bay.

Do we really know that Klink will be gone if we lose? Because that would be really cruel to do to us fans....Put us through another Packer Loss without a Chilly head on a platter!

Even Better! I get front row seats to the whinning! this almost makes up for the Amp Lee fumble in the 1996 playoffs.

Looks like the Williams' are gonna play. Hopefully, Allen too. If not, Robison's a pretty decent B/U. Interestingly enough, Madieu Williams could be a factor in the game.

The end of this year will be time for Chilly to go, regardless of the result Sunday, but I think all the Purple Faithful want to see him go with a 1-5 record against the hated Pack, vice a 0-6 record. Skol, Vikings!

I have to agree. I have seen more mugging of our recievers by the Green Bay cornerbacks, than any other teams the Vikings play. I can't believe the officiating crew can miss as many obvious fouls as they do.If there is a reason, I'm trying to understand what it is. I thought officials were supposed to be impartial.
