Yep. Happens after every win. Thing is that it was eeking out a win, not a slam dunk in your face win. Suddenly Clink, Bevel, and Shanko are all that. The team went into snooze mode and almost lost the game. They will be back after the bozo show fouls up the game against the fudge packers...

Good play calling in the first series. I also like that we are using Chester Taylor, more often, and look forward to the offensive game plan getting more aggressive as the weeks continue.

for all you people saying Fire Childress, stick, it up your ass. let the coach coach. or are you on the Vikes payroll.

Dan in Phoenix, maybe you got a rattlesnake up you sphinkter that needs to get some KY on it, get a fricking life.

I loke the improvement, and we have a great game coming up. Go Vikes.

well the good news is that greenbay released their all time sack leader with this and jared allen together and the william brothers coming back in four weeks keep gus ferote and pick up a veteran perhaps from cleveland offer three draft picks 09 1st 10 1st 11 1st since this is ultimately lacking is a quarterback - in the next three years we than would have 18 draft picks our running team is there and our receiver cors oare there with brady quinn we can draft over the next three years offensive lineman and or defensive help but we need definetly a leader oat quarterback position.

I think we you could definatley see what a difference a bye week makes. CHilly had two weeks to prepare for the TEXANS, who has only one 4 road games in the team history. CHilly needs to keep his guys motivated more and not go in cruise control. Did anyone else predict the 3 run plays in a row on our last drive to give the texans one last try to beat us. Chilly you are so arrogant and predictable i want to punch your Mr Giggle face. Plus chilly has never beaten the packers that's reason to fire him right there.

GO Vikes.

Hey...Bob what was your first clue? I sure as hell do not need you to blubber all over the paper belaboring the obvious. How much longer are you going to continue embarasssing yourself.

It was a nice win. But let us face it we were once again lucky to win and their are so many weaknesses in this bedraggled bunch it is hard to comprehend. Nothing like jumping on the rah rah wagaon.

Wait tell next weekend when Green Bush hands them their preverbial butts again. This bunch of Vikings will show their true colors and once again fold their tents against a better team.

My God, man. Have you ever heard of punctuation? Use a period; a comma; capital letters at the beginning of a sentence and for proper names. Your blog is just one big "run-on" sentence, if you call that a sentence. Your english teacher would be sick to the stomach if he/she read your comments. Frerotte, not ferote; corps, not cors; definitely, not definetly. Oh, I forgot that education is not a top priority in this country anymore. GO VIKES!!!

Allen has improved; but, the team still has to be more consistent and finish games strong to prevent a team from coming back when we have a game in our control. Remember Vikes: convert third downs, no turnovers, no "stupid" penalties, and shore up that pass defense and this team will be on its way to the playoffs. Still, as always, KLINK MUST GO!!! GO VIKES!!!

How were the Vikings lucky to win? More sacks, won the turnover ratio battle, more plays of 20+ yards, and they had a 100+ yard rusher and receiver. Not following you on that sentiment, brother.
I share your pessimism with our chances against the Packers on Sunday, but don't be the type of fan who apologizes after every win. Fact is that the Packers are 4-4 as well, with the Vikings having a tougher schedule thus far through the season. If they somehow beat the Pack, get off the negative bit and feel free to take it to the Pack fans who spend more time bashing our team than pay attention to their own. I will be right here with ya.

Gotta ask Purple - how is the schedule tougher thus far? One game vs the Bears for the Vikes...played Colts - Vikes lose, Pack wins, Ten, both lose...Tampa & Atlanta both tough teams.

About time Allen playing up to his potential. Gus looked better as well in the passing department with 3TDS. Sidney Rice returns for a touchdown and all is well this week at least. We'll see how good they really are against the Cheese next game. Should've won the game in Green Bay earlier. Need Allen and the d-line to duplicate effort against the Pack if the Vikes hope to win. I still think T-Jack should be put at linebacker. He's got the linebacker build and he's being wasted on the bench. Skol!

Vikings Opponents Record - 34-30
Packers Opponents Record - 34-32

Not by much, but still tougher; maybe I should have added "slightly" as an adjective to tougher. Packers have looked better when they lose, and win for that matter than the Vikes, but it's about wins and losses - and as much as I know it may pain any Packer fan to say it - these are two EVENLY matched teams coming into our house on Sunday!

Right on, thanks for the clarification...Sunday will be a test. If Chili can't win one game vs. the Pack, he really should be fired. I hope he gets fired.

Hope the Viking kick the crap out of Green Bay. If you want to know anything about the Packers offense just give me a call. I'm just glad that I don't have to deal with those stupid cheeseheads anymore. Go Vikes!!
