McCoy, Longhorns aim to party like it's 2005
For Texas, the comparisons between the team that will take the field in September and the group that celebrated in January 2006 are impossible to avoid.

Last year Colt McCoy had a great year. Last year Colt played above his game. He isn't a Vince Young. Colt better have a good line, becuse all the teams have his number, and they will go after it. That insurance policy might have been a good idea, if nothing else it helped motivate the teams that play Texas. They will all want a peace of the rock.

There is no evidence that Colt played above his game for the entire year. At this point, it would seem that his sophomore year was the anomaly, not his junior year. No one is calling him Vince Young. He is a completely different style of quarterback.

Colt McCoy is no Vince that's for sure, but he's working his a** off and this year Texas will be no. 1 - f-what the pole says - Go Horns Hook-Em damn September come on I'm ready :)
