the rookies have done well, one of the better draft classes. the problem is the lack of core players from bad drafts 98'-03

If Beck doesnt start this last game Camaron needs to get Fired! Who cares if we finish 1-15 or 2-14 but we need to know if Beck is the QB of the future.

people thought jason allen sucked until he was allowed to play. give ginn consistant time and opportunitys to be the main option(instead of booker) in the passing game. he might impress. i know he starts but hes only on the field for maybe 60 percent of the snaps

rookie class has been ok satale seems to be a solid playerbooker a good change of pace guyginn will be a bernard berrian type
solai doesnt seem to be much more than a career backup
we should do what we can to try and package Beck and a 2nd rd pick for brady quinn - i knw it will never happen
beck doesnt seem to be any better than chris weinke

I think Ginn will trun into a good, if not yet great, receiver next year. Beck, who knows? QB in the NFL is a tough jump from college. With Ginn, Booker, Satele, the fullback and punter Fields the Fins have not done that bad in the last draft. Depsite all the analysis in the world the draft is hit or miss, and that goes for every team. The best to hope for is a good hit on 50% of the picks.

what amazes me is kerry reed, he is on the practice squad and from watching him, i dont understand why he doesn't get a shot, the guy is fast, runs a good route and does not drop passes thrown his way, i dont know why he cant get a shot, heck, you have two butterfingers for receivers now (booker/hagen), so why not give him a shot

Get over it! HE IS A BROWN! Nothing has changed my mind about John Beck. No line, no recievers and no running attack equals poor qb play no matter who you have.

Ginn is a wasted pick no matter how you look at it, even if he becomes a pro-bowl WR. We could have Marvin Harrison on this team and still be 1-14. We needed a a QB coming into the year and we still need a QB. We didnt need to pick up a WR/KR, and in his own regard Ginn isnt playing worth his high draft number. How many struggling teams pick a WR as their top pick?

His playing time does not reflect on his talent. The Browns have one of the better QBs this year and are fighting for a playoff spot, why would they throw a rookie in at this time?

With Ginn, Booker, Satele, the fullback and punter Fields the Fins have not done that bad in the last draft.
Ginn(D) is a bust, compared to other rookie receivers. KO average, PR average. Small receiver who will get hurt. Looks like the slowest guy out their returning kicks lately. Very quick getting to the sidelines. Beck(D) is a career backup at best in a Cam offensive system. Satele(B) is a decent serviceable center for 4-5 years but by no means will he ever be a pro-bowler. Booker(C+) is another small player who will not last long in NFL because of injury. The Fullback(D+) can't catch a ball out the backfield, decent blocker at best. The punter(D) is OK in pregame but during the games is a different story. Why waste a draft pick when you may get a gem with a positional player. Punters are a dime a dozen. I think Mark Clayton was a 7th rounder.
Basically this draft was a bust. Do the comparisons of other teams rookies and who we passed over. Mueller and the Dolphin scouting dept is not the answer...

The receivers did catch the ball better. Beck will never be anything better than a back up QB who will float around the league like AJ Feely. This guy was a disaster.

I was hoping to see something from him that would make him look like a starter. I didn't follow the college game much the last couple years. Are there any QBs coming out this year that are worthy of the first pick? Someone who could start contributing early in the season next year?
