Eagles Training Camp: Are the Birds Super Bowl Bound?

Maybe this year. It's a refrain Eagles fans know well, after too many oh-so-close brushes with Super Bowl glory.

Who really cares? They are nothing other than a bunch of overpaid thugs who feel they can do anything they want and no one should question them. It's time to pay them for what they are worth, and when they act out, fire them and see if they can get real jobs. Most of them would end up in prison because being thugs is all they know.

Are you kidden me? Seriously Eagles have had no luck on reaching the superbowl, Bad calls bad plays bad players, west brook your awesome but you can only do so much. Jackson proved alot, Mcnabb not bad, To all the Eagles fans i know the losses are gettign to you, and there is always room here on the Dallas Cowboys side, Won't you be a part of the star..HAHA

What are you talking about ? Do you have a little memory loss from your last Cowboy Crying Party. Let me refresh your memory of 2008. The Eagles and Cowboys split the season meetings 1-1. BUT, if you can jog your memory for a second, you might remember that the first game was a squeaker that he Cowboys won by 4 at home. The second game was a complete Eagles beat down of Dallas 44-6.
And let's not forget Dallas's absence from the playoffs, while the Eagles were one game from the Super Bowl after beating the Vikings and the Giants on the road. Also, the NFC Championship game was played in Arizona despite the Eagles having a better regular season record than the Cardinals, which I think may have made a huge difference in the outcome of that game. The Eagles beat the Cardinals by 28 pts. at the Linc in week 13.(I think that rule sux by the way. Best record should get home field regardless of whether or not they're a division champ)
So, anyway... I'll stick with the birds thank you. They're the ones winning. Not the Cowboys.

They are worth the money they get paid. Remember they have talent not shared by 99.9% of the population. So the players get paid what the market will bear. And the NFL market is very, very good.
I agree there are many thugs out there in pro sports today, but do some research. The Eagles do a great job of finding good players with good character. You would be hard pressed to find an Eagles player today with a thug lifestyle.
Bill please stick to opining about political issues. You do a much better job in that arena.
