I thought to myself, "Surely this column won't be as bad as its headline." Thanks for proving me wrong. That was without a doubt the lamest column I've read in months. You must have attended the Academy of Hackneyed Puns and Lame Cliches.

Worst, tasteless column I've ever read....Hiesman being greased? He had 13 carries dude! Give me a sound like a super fan that has never played football, these are college age kids, I respect both programs. Once again, you sound like a smug California attitude, the reason the whole West hates Californians! By the way, I know a guy who worked in your athletic dept. when Marinovich played, he didnt go to class for an entire semester, ever heard of that? Reggie Bush? OJ Mayo? or the other OJ? hahahaha

How's this...You're an asshole...Beanie has practiced all year to play in this game, if he could go, he would. He is by far the best palyer on the field on either team when healthy, a true game changer. Count your blessings he's not playing, you got a huge break, otherwise you'd see about 35 carries for 150+ in a buckeye victory. As it is now, not only does OSU lose their best player, but they also lose the heart of the team emotionally. Hopefully he comes back for his senior year, can't wait to read your excuses next year following the game in C-Bus after he runs over the Trojans.

P.S. you actually get paid for this drivel...the Daily news must be really hard up for decent journalists, you fricking hack.

You brought up Clarett which was six years ago. How about something more recent? How about $500,000 to Reggie Bush? Clarett's failings pale in comparison to the USC cesspool. What's more, USC has ESPN in their pocket so they won't push it to the full scale investigation it should have. That would surely result in a lost national title and one less Heisman in USC's trophy case. Maybe one day the NCAA will wake up and USC will get what's coming to them.

Its funny how all of you retard californians can run your mouths about Beanie. This guy has no clue about anything football related, I'm a huge buckeye fan and while i admit that they cant win without Beanie, any moron could write an article that lacks this much journalistic integrity. Had this guy done his homework, he could have found that Beanie played all year last year with a broken wrist and an ankle that needed surgery....and is BETTER than anyone USC has. I doubt very seriously that he is losing any sleep over the prospects of Cushing coming after him. As far as the low blow referencing Clarett, we all know that nothing illegal happens at USC, (Note Reggie Bush, Dwayne Jarret getting thousands of dollars from boosters or Leinarts dad.) The whole country is losing out if Beanie isnt able to play tonite, but it will save the USC defense some embarrassment from having him run over and around countless would be tacklers (see last years BCS game.)

This reporter is why 99.9% of the U.S. sports population hate the media.

ANY (smart) CFB team will sacrifice a non-league game, with more importance on a conference foe.

If I was the editor for this paper, I would question this guys abilities. Not from the standpoint of anything to do with USC - OSU, that's irrelevant. But from the standpoint of writing an article that has some substantial, "QUANTIFIABLE" fact.

It sounds like you're an idiot. Didn't hear one OSU fan laughing when Sanchez dislocated his knee, yet it seems standard fare to joke about an Ohio States injured player.I guess us stupid people out here in Ohio think its best when kids aren't hurt. Hey it must be hilarious for you guys when they take people off the field on a stretcher. If your article even attempted at humor I could cut you a break.
