4 teeams have scored over 60 points on WSU, I think there are high school teams in So Cal that can give WSU a run for their money.
I'm not sure they ran up the score, but I was surised to see dirty sanchez start the 3rd Qtr.

I am a USC fan but yesterday was difficult to watch. As usual when the score gets lopsided USC started putting in back-up players.

I honestly feel bad for WSU. Their program is in such bad shape and they are giving all the effort they can but yesterday they were so overmatched.

What will the WSU coaching staff say to their kids on the next day of practice? I just don't know.

And USC did not "run up the score". If they wanted to WSU would have lost by over 100.

I give WSC a lot of credit for playing as hard as they did.

What is this run-up-the-score BS?! Scott Wolf, you have NO idea what you're talking about. Did you even watch the game? At the end of the first half, USC let the time go out, despite being in an easy position to score. In the second half, they barely let their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string quarterbacks throw the ball. All they did was run a similar play OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Did you notice that half the team playing in the second half were second and third string players?

Scott Wolf, you need to come out and say you hate USC. It's ok, many people do, but as a sports "writer" (and I use that term VERY loosely), you need to be up front and honest, that your writing is not objective.

I don't understand what the fuss is about. USC wasn't the only team to put up 60+ points on the Cougars. There have been sevarl other schools to do the same, however, no one critized their program or coach. The entire fourth quater, USC kept the ball on the ground with a freshman RB. SC is trying to get back into the national title hunt. If we play passive or down to the competition, it's hurts our chances of making that run. I guarantee you, if the score had been only 32-10, we would had been critized for not putting it to a team like Washington State. It definitely would have hurt us in the polls.

USC fan, you're being too nice to Scott.
What would the haters prefer, that USC just let them score? This isn't sand lot. And as far as the TV goes. Washington benifited as well as USC. That in itself helped their cause going into next year. Only way to go is up and their holding back all their redshirt freshmen is telling in itself. So... let it go people, USC didn't make the schedule nor are they responsible for playing a crappy PAC10 team. After watching last years debacle at Stanford, anything could have happened.

EXACTLY! And this is why Pete Carroll is such a great coach. He and his staff have built a program which allows them to play the 2-4th string or even deeper in games like this. That is why they are so good each year. Experience!

Scott you are an idiot and should be fired. If USC really wanted to run up the score, we wouldn't have ran out the clock at the end of the 1st half with us driving at their 5 yard line. And we would've passed over and over in the 2nd half.

UCLA ran the score up to 59-0!

OOp's my mistake that was UCLA that had 0.

USC has played 10 quarters (2 1/2 games) without letting the other team score.

USC is, once again, overrated. Wow, they beat the WORST team in what is turning out to be one of the weakest conferences. Play somebody already....
