Dammit, my "Beat Oregon State" button didn't seem to work this game. Alright, bring on the flogging.

Defense stepped up in the 2nd half as they normally do.

1st half playcalling on offense was crap. What the hell was that direct snap BS.

Joe McKnight has got to hold on to the ball.

We need a punt returner that's not afraid of the ball so we don't end up pinned on the 3 yard line.

Mark Sanchez made a costly mistake that I hope he learns from. We need him to come back strong the rest of the season.

Overall, the team took a punch to the mouth early on and didn't recover.

Congrats to Oregon State. They wanted this game more than my boys did. They worked for it and deserved it more than my boys did.

Like I said in previous posts, perceived talent means nothing. Preparation and coaching is everything, and Oregon State proved it.

Fight On!

You should be the last one talking 59-0.

The biggest loss in USC history last night. Pete Carroll should be ashamed to put on the cardinal and gold this morning. Special teams stunk, no O line blocking. Sanchez cannot throw on the run. What happened top Tail back U. A complete and utter mess. Can you say Holiday bowl, Dec 22.

A) He was recruited and admitted BEFORE he fouled up his life. PC and USC can't control what these kids do before they get to campus.
B) Are you saying that anyone convicted of a crime shouldn't be allowed to rehabilitate themselves and seek out an education? There are plenty of people out there who've been given a second chance and have done alright. I'd rather they be given the opportunity to rise up out of that life than be condemned to it.
exactly it is refreshing to read your positivity the rest of you give negativity a rest good job. cpem

Bobby P & Just-Rog,
The article said "some colleges" but it didn't specify which. I'm sure USC was no longer interested after he was convicted. I, however, don't believe in writing someone off after one mistake. If he can prove himself worthy, then let him play. Take it for what you will.
Point take CPEM, but we all know Carroll has overlooked these types of problems with his athletes. Eric Wright had to go to the Dean in order to transfer to UNLV after he had been accused of rape while on the team, and Pete Carroll FOUGHT the transfer all the way.

Rey Maualuga supposedly was going to be suspended as a freshmen after being arrested for assault and battery but in a close game against Stanford, he Carroll inserted him into the game in the second half, and when highly critisized by the media his words were "I will run my program the way I see fit".

And 2 weeks ago Shareece Writht was arrested and charged with a felony 2 night before tht OSU game and he still suited up and played vs. the Buckeyes, what other high profile coach would have allowed a player even on the field? I think it's pretty clear to all of us that Pete Carroll is ALL about winning and character takes a back seat 100% of the time. PC great coach - poor diciplinarian (i know it's mispelled).

Carroll overlooked the fact that Reggie Bush was driving a beat-up '92 toyota truck on Friday and showed up to school on Monday with a "pimp-out" Impala. How can not even one coach have the audacity to say they knew NOTHING strange going on with Reggie Bush accepting $$$, cars, etc.

Carroll is a selfish, self serving, egomaniacal power-driven pig that will put USC in trouble because he only cares bout HIM not the usc program.

All the usc fans better hope the trojans don't lose another regular season game this year, because if they do, the NCAA will lower it's hammer (the Bush hammer) sooner than later, because usc will lose the power of being that "cash-cow" it's been for the past 4 years for them. Remember college football is a business to the NCAA. Brace yourselves folks, it's coming.

Hello?!..... I'm looking for "trojan man", "STB", "usc Steve" and "angel fan" ... has annyone seen these losers??

My condonlences to the real and classy Trojan Fans Shinjo, CPEM, and Broadway Joe, it was a tough loss, Oregon State came to play, that little guy reminds me of a miniature Maurice Drew-Jones.

But to that loud mouth, obnoxious, arrogant, pompous, bumbling, trash-talking, moronic, crack-head, basket case idiot "Trojan-Man" "usc steve" "STB" "Angel Fan" (specially Trojan Man) why are you being a cowards? come on out and defend youselfs and offer you pathetic nonsense excuses, so we can all ridicule your sorry pathetic arses.

Like I said before, real fans come into this forum and discuss wins and losses, regardless of which end our team ends up. Joe, CPEM, and Shinjo, real fans - the othes I mentioned, you are an embarrasement, keep you pie-holes shut from now on.

Yup, yup, and yup. His decisions sometimes are questionable. As usual, though, there's always more to a story that he may be privy to that we aren't. At the same time, though, he's gotta realize that the perception of things is sometimes more important, and he's gotta bite the bullet once in a while. I agree, though, that Shareece probably shouldn't have played against tOSU after being arrested. The last thing I want is USC to develop the reputation of a thuggish program. Now, I'm sure some will come on here and say "too late" but true football fans will recognize the true character of the football program at USC. Pete has to re-establish the perception of his program's character.

Ohio State didn't have it's best player, TED GUINN , against Floriida. OSU didin't have their best player, BEANIE WELLS , against USC where a good running back made a difference for Oregon State. It was a fkuke to play LSU. It wasn't their (the Buckeyes) year.
