Tarkenton says it was 'awkward' to see Favre in purple

The quarterback who led the Minnesota Vikings to six NFC Central Division titles and three Super Bowl appearances says it was awkward to see Brett Favre in purple Sunday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

Interesting! I also felt troubled and uncomfortable by the sight of Favre in purple. Then I realized I had put my jockey shorts on backwards! Easily fixed -- watched the rest of the game much relieved.

The reason Fran wanted Favre to stay retired is because he want his buddies kid to have a chance at being the greatest QB of all time by breaking Favres records. Peyton is the only QB that could of gotten close had Favre retired, granted he stayed healthy. Therefore Fran, that pretty much says that you are not a Viking fan anymore if ya don't want whats best for the team.
