Packers are waiting for the GREAT Aaron Rodgers to win his 2nd super bowl so he could look down on Favre with 2 sb win in less than 5 years. The interception king had 1 in 20 years and he couldn't keep is fly zipped.

Aaron is a good QB the Best of the North hands down but I dont think Aaron will ever win 3 conecutive MVP's like Favre has

The Packers team was Bad A losing team before Favre come there>>From 1973-1992, the Packers had only one season with more than eight wins.Packers front office, hired Mike Holmgren to coach the team, and traded for Brett Lorenzo Favre to be the future franchise quarterback. He won three consecutive MVPs from 1995-1997, leading the Packers to three division titles, two conference championships and a Super Bowl title When the NFL realigned and the division became the NFC North, the Packers rattled off four of the first six division titles. experts will always says Favre 3 time MVP many division titles tops Aaron & there not taking anything away from Aaron in saying that.

I don't want it to happen but Rodgers will have more championships which supersedes MVP's. Not to mention the Interception.

Give me Aaron Rodgers over Favre's career any day.

Plus Rodgers is likable.

As great as Favre was,i do believe Rodgers will be considered a greater qb before its all said and done.Aaron may not win 3 straight MVP or 3 MVP total but he will win mulitple SB's.

I guess I can answer you both with this Aaron was sacked 36 times last season, 160 times in his career. He has had not one but TWO Head Concussions. Your both assuming Aaron will last the years it will take to brake Favres records. Having Two Head Concussions the Odds are against it. If Aaron last yes he has a chance on braking them. But looking at the odds of it happening with whats happen to him already it doesnt look like it going to happen. I thought in a few games last year he was light headed getting up.

Jimmy would say he's injury prone. And he's still upset that his version of best qb in the division was put out with the trash before last season.

Why the comparison between two first class quarterbacks? Clearly the Packers know what they are doing when it comes to picking and developing great quarterbacks. Each have their own unique style, but contributed the same quality of play that has given Green Bay over 20 years of great football. Other teams can only dream of what has been accomplished in Green Bay for that length of time with only 2 quarterbacks! The media's need for sensationalism did Farve no favors, making him the villian when all he wanted to do was continue to play the game. Other players do it all the time. It's too bad, but hopefully Packer fans will realize just how lucky they were -and are -to have back to back 'best in class' quarterbacks that will both end up in the Hall of Fame.
