Intriguing possibility with Cook. Never count the options out.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is the first tight end drafted.

Pettigrew's stock is dropping slightly, but that's because he's not

as fast of a tight end as most teams would like him to be.

get the best nose tackle you can find. the defence is weak down the middle

I think tight end Anthony Fasano gets resigned during the year and they get best available in draft this year or next. I don't see the fins taking one early this year but next year maybe day 1.

This kid can play. SC really didn't use him to his potential.

I will be angry as hell if we take a TE in the 1st day. We need some DEFENSEIVE STUDS!!!

Just a hunch, if they were to take a T.E. first day, my guess would be James Casey. Pettigrew will likely go early and Casey is the most versatile. I would expect Fasano to get resigned during the year as well. Casey can also play 7 positions which would make him a very attractive pick. One of those positions is quarterback. Another is wide receiver. Big Bill likes players like him.

Tight end is not a major need. So if Miami drafts one, it will be late in the draft. But that might change if Miami is able to get more draft picks. Parcells can find gems in the rough in the later
rounds and free agency.

This Cook fella has some real potential, but I can't see us drafting him with one of our first two picks; we've got higher priorities than TE on day 1. But who knows?

TE is a want more than a need right now but if there is value picking a TE at some point in the draft Im all for it. I do not think picking a TE in the 1st 2 rds is the way to go in this draft but in Bill I do trust and if he picks a TE on the 1st day then the guy is going to be a beast

I am actually all for picking a reliable versatile TE. We need a receiver but we do not need some long running number 1 receiver cause Pennington is not a distance thrower, We need a large target who can consistently catch the ball and be a major threat in short field gains to get our receivers in one on one situation that they can win. When it is time to pass deep or run the ball blocking is important to gain those yards. Both of those roles are filled by a TE. Whether this guy is the one or not I do not know but if the right TE is around by all means pick him up.

We'll have our choice of top three in WR or CB at #25. It's that high second round pick that is SO intriguing!!

I like Ingram from UF or Murphy of UF at TE and WR, but if Jared Cook or that Connor kid from Cincy are available, oh my.

Bottom line, we are going to get a top line CB, WR, Edge Rusher, or DT, as well as a top flight TE out of this draft.

In Tuna we trust. In the trifecter we trust.

SB in 2009 or 2010!!!

We do need a fast WR. Pennington may not be a deep passer but Henne is. and in 2010 Henne will be the starter.

I wouldn't count on Miami drafting a player at #25. More than likely we'll trade down into the second round to pick up more picks.

I wouldn't count on Miami drafting a player worth a crap at #25. More than likely we'll trade down into the second round to pick up more pathetic picks.

I wouldn't count on Miami to even be in NY at the time of the draft. They'll simply have an open tryout at the Davie complex for available free agents, and save Mr. Ross some serious coin.

hee hee, this is fun. NOT!

Nicks at #25, if not, trade down and grab Tate in the second round (who was BETTER than Nicks at NC until injured), or Britt from Rutgers, then get an extra 2nd or 3rd for a NT, CB, OLB, and TE.
