I believe that the total blame has to be placed on the inept ability exhibited by Bowlen who had stated that he was "now" taking control of the team when he released Shanahan. If McDaniels made the decisions he did without the approval of Bowlen, hes should have been fired.

He was not, so we must assume that Bowlen is 100 percent the blame.

A fuming Bronco fan? Wow, I've lived in Colorado for over 25 years, and I can tell ya, you do not want to be anywhere near a fuming Bronco fan! I don't think you can blame Bowlen though. I think it's a spontaneous combustion thing. In any event, it's best to call a HAZMAT unit when it happens.

Fuming? Bull. Sorry, I work in Denver and have tons of Donks fans here in my office, and most of them put the blame on both, and mor of the blame on on Cutler being a prima donna and listening to bad advice from Bus Cook, refusing to let his ego down and work for the team.

i cant believe that somebody would actually do this when they have followed them for so long. the thing is, i blame cutler for the divorce of him and the broncos. every other player on the team is up for trade, but because cutler was the qb, he thinks he shouldnt be. maybe mcdaniels should of taken cutler into his office and asked what he wanted and what direction he thought the organization should be going, but cutler acted like a big crybaby though this entire thing and i dont blame the broncos at all. they had to trade him after the way he acted. i believe the bears just screwed themselves over big time and the broncos took advantage. im really am starting to wonder if cutler is just another primadonna in the making. i got a feeling that it wont be long before hes complaining. he doesnt have the recievers or line that he once had. orton is going to become a pro bowl quarterback now that hes in denver and doesnt have the bears fans on his back after every incomplete pass. the bears already screwed grossman up and orton got out before they could do it to him.

i am a viking fan who cant wait to see him get driven into the ground by jared allen, k. williams, and p. williams. i know a lot of bears fans and the 2009 is going to be great.

So most are fuming both ways?

Pat Bowlen and Josh McDaniels have screwed the Broncos. Jay could have turned the other cheek when he was lied to but think how you would have felt being Jay. The same day you showed up at Dove Vally and started to learn the knew play book and Mcdumass tells you, we are going to work great together then the same day try to trade you, then lie about it, how would you feel? And as for Bowlen saying he never knew abuot the trade is a flat out lie. And as for the whole crybaby Jay stuff, that was Bronco PR and the media not Jay. You would have to be a mindless moron to belive the crap you read in the news. Now the Bears are going to have a great season and the Broncos are going to suck for years to come. And its all thanks to Pat Bowlen and Josh Mcdumass.I wish only the best for Jay.

Yes, Cutler had normal emotions about the situation. I'm sure Broncos management had feelings about the situation also. As a Packer fan I know that this is not the first time that emotions between a QB and team management have gotten out of hand.

Believe it or not, the sky is not falling. Both the Broncos and Jay Cutler will go on. In all likelyhood neither will suffer serious long term dire consequences. And although this trade has certainly helped the Bears shore up the QB position, I doubt Chicago will have a "great" season. At least I hope not.

I am not a Bronco fan, but I believe Bowlen always tries to field a winner. This may be a step backward but it probably will be short lived.
