Well, may as well let the rookie take the reigns...Orton and Simms certainly are not franchise quarterbacks. I can't remember the last time I saw a quarterback tackle the defender that just intercepted his pass, now that's a guy that wants to play football!!! Too bad all the players don't play with that much heart!(B. Marshall)

Do we care whether Orton or Simms are ready in time for the first regular season game, or do we develop a rookie QB?

WOW... I gotta admit that Brandstater did not let me down... He came in and still managed to run our our offense (starters, 2nd, 3rd) and did very well... some plays could have been better but COME ON!!! He ripped the ball way farther then Orton only dreamed... Work this guy and we can be VERY good team... maybe not this year but next year... our D came alive last night!!! GO Nolan!!!

It was plain to see that Brandstater has a leadership quality that Orton and Simms do not. Although he is a rookie, the offense came alive under his direction. That is something I haven't seen with the other 2 QBs. Good job, Brandstater

I am a Fresno State Grad (born and raised in Fresno)who had the privilege of watching Tommy B play in college. I really liked him. He has a great arm and I think he will do very well with an offensive minded coach. I was really excited to hear that the Broncos drafted him last year and would love to see him turn into a franchise quarterback for the Broncos. I am rooting for him and hope to see great things this year and years to come.

Denver is going to be terrible know matter who plays QB. Might as well give this guy a shot. The schedule is brutal and i don't see them winning more than 4 games this year.

It's too bad the Seahawks are getting our number 1 pick next year. We could have taken one of the QB's coming out. That pick should be a top 5 and a very good chance of being a top 3 pick. Another stupid move by the broncos. Trading a 2nd round pick for a top 5 pick, straight up!

seahawks getting our #1 next year?? I believe its the #1 we got from the Cutler trade we should still have ours.
