how bout them donkeys? They're still in last place. They played a team with a rah-rah college coach, and the hawks played like it.

That's ok, you can win with a bad team and you can lose with a good team. That's why KC is 2-0 right now. It won't last though. I remember you ragging on Tebow pretty hard. I bet is he was starting his QB rating would be higher than the 50 something rating on Cassell.

You know, if the Broncos ever played that new expansion team from Tulsa called the Tulsa Wraiths, they might get a serious lesson in football. I hear their tight-end (Big Beth) is an enormous force to be reckoned with.

Captain, you and I both know Cassell is not the answer. Coach mcmeathead ended up losing a quarterback with a bright future[even though he's a bit of an enigma] trying to get a backup with a 50 rating that can't even put the ball in the endzone once. How smart was that move?

I agree we had a qb with a bright future, but he was also a diva. Sometimes the skill and promise doesn't outweigh the headaches. Sure, I wish we still had Shanahan but we just have to take what is there.

Shanahan is not the answer. He was succeseful with the team already in place. Once he had to build his own team, he could'nt. Greise for 5 years, he could'nt even admit then that was a bad choice. Carter from the chiefs? He had a rap sheet[pot sales, cocaine sales, stolen chopped cars] yet shanahan took him. Travis henry? The gme has passed shanahan a long time ago. In 2 more years they will fire mcmeathead and then denver can pick up a quality coach.[mcmeathead will be a good coach, but not in denver. Look how he berates his players, he'll lose his teams respect soon enough]

Hey Ray.: for once I agree with jou.Shanahan was a success only with a pre built team. When the players had to be replaced he thought he could buy a team somewhat Like Joe Torre of the Yankees Without The Stienbreners Money he is a Failure (Example LA Dodgers).Thats why Shanahan is Know as Shamaham !

Ahh, maybe it was time for him to go. I just wish we didn't wind up with someone who alienated a lot of the fan favorites. At least Marshall isn't our problem now. As for Torre, I can't think of any managers who would have been successful with that lame duck Dodger team. The years the Yankees won the World Series in the late 90s, their payroll was right there with several other teams. If money really did buy championships, the Orioles would have a few extra rings.

As far as Torre goes I believe he was at the right place at the right time as was Shamaham. Prior to his stint with the Yamkees hes was just an average manager ie; when he managed the Mets,Braves. Shamaham is grooming his son to get the Big Bucks as he did from all suckers in the Bronco organization.Shamaham will be found out by the Redskins much quicker then he was in Denver.
