God you with your Orton garbage and your lack of reading skills and lack of football knowledge never cease to amaze me...
THE SAFTEY HAS BEEN PLAYING IN THE BOX 90% OF THE TIME THIS ENTIRE YEAR VS THE BEARS OFFENSE!
Thats why analysts are saying Forte is going to have a great second half because opposing teams are going to RESPECT ORTONS passing game finally....its a frigging compliment from the league to your boyfriend and you are even perceptive to that LOL!!
You sir are a moron~!
What are you watching Dimz? Honestly....First of all most of the time because of the broadcast you cant even see the safety ....IF he is in the box..

Secondly just because a guy lines up in the box doesn't mean he will be there on the snap...Get a clue Dimz!!

Hey little boy, please tell me what Rex Grossman's stats were after 7 starts in 2006.
Now please tell me where Rex Grossman is now.
Little boy?? I'm 53 years old, finishing my doctorate in biostatistics at UIC, and could trash you within an inch of your life with a p value less than/equal to 0.01

Statistically, there is no difference between Rex Grossman and Cade McNown, except that Cade scrambled for a HELL of a lot more yards!! Here, this is a good site, run by a fellow statistician:

Actually my credibility has been proven...
you admiting that you "cant tell if there are 8 in the box or safties moved up to the line because you cant see it on tv broadcast" made me spit my beer. THEN-You fail to understand why the running game has been contained, then blame it on the running game "not being so good". Your probally unaware of how many reception yards Forte has been getting or the excellent blocking he has been doing to allow Orton to throw the ball--you failed to put how all this together has equaled to how the opposing defenses have been game planning for run. You cant count to 8 i'm guessing? But...you are the self proclaimed guru am i right?

Hey, at least he's not an NFL god like Phido!!

More on Forte from the Sun Times:

"The difference between Forte and Cedric Benson, when the former first-round draft pick was putting up pedestrian running numbers, is still immense.

Forte is playing a big role in the passing game; the New Orleans Saints' Reggie Bush is the only back with more receptions than Forte, who has 29 catches for 223 yards and two touchdowns. With Bush out at least a month after knee surgery, Forte should pass him soon."

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/bears ...

I really like that strategy (pass to the running backs), keep it up and GO BEARS!!

p.s. do you think they'll try a William Perry-style pass play with that big new kid? That would be fun at the goal line!

The biggest problem with Grossman is that he is injury prone. Add to that lack of height and mobility and you have a guy who is a decent back-up QB. Grossman got every break because he was a first round pick and he has failed to establish himself.
I am extremely impressed with what Orton has accomplished with the worst wide receivers in the NFL and a very mediocre offensive line. Orton sure looked like a poor man's Peyton Manning last Sunday in terms of running a no-huddle and putting points on the board. The future is definitely Kyle Orton.
Are you a Grossman supporter because you're from Florida? If so, I can sympathize with your position. The best thing Florida ever did was fire Ron Zook so that he could resurrect the Fighting Illini.
1. I'm not a Grossman fan. I'm just not one of those people that choose a QB simply because he's 'Not Rex' like almost every Orton fan is. There was NOTHING Orton ever showed before the last 2.5 games that showed him as an NFL quality starter, yet that didn't stop all these 'true Bears Fans' from thinking the 10-5 rookie record was his doing.

2. I'm not FROM Florida, I am in Florida after my time in the military and time as a cop in Cal. I am still a fan of the Fighting Illini, and have never been a fan of any other college.

3. Grossman actually used to be more mobile. Turner changed that first, then injuries changed it permanently.

Little boy refers to your emotional level and your attitude in your responses. It also got your goat, which was my goal to show you how immature YOUR comment and insults have been to me. For such a brain whiz, you are very slow on the uptake.

BTW, Maybe you should check Cade McNown and his rookie season to Kyle Orton and HIS rookie season before you run your mouth again.

Cherry picking. The favorite way to use stats by the typical Orton fan.
You will always remain a 'little boy' no matter your physical age, because you chose to never actually grow up and mature.

Hey Dimz...During the broadcasts watch when Orton audibles and see if you can see the defensive secondary.. You also forget that when we run our 2 TE sets they have to bring up an extra safety..Honestly dude what are you watching? Are you just looking for Rex on the sidelines?

I think that we're ALL looking for these "phantom" QB "huddles" on the sidelines between Orton, Grossman, and Hanie.

The only sideline huddles that I saw were last season between Griese and Orton...... which is probably why Orton overtook Rex !!

DiMz ..... Your God-like credibility has always been held in high regard to your friends on this forum.......... that is, as long as your viewpoint agrees with ours !

Otherwise, you shall be pummeled unmercifully when it doesn't.

Isn't that what true friends are for ??

It helps keep one humble.
