Vaughn must be a good writer to get an article out of a Brian Urlacher locker room mumble.

No Roy Williams? I totally forgot! Man, I'm going to the game Sunday and I was looking forward to booing him after he caught a pass and made a first-down signal with the Bears up 41-6. I'm surprised he and TO can fit their big heads in the same room.

His back is messed up and the defense they play doesn't take advantage of his abilities. He is on the decline, but he usually drops back into coverage. Why don't you suit up and get on the field with him?

Let's point the finger at Tommie Harris, Ogunley, "high motor, low talent" Dusty Dvorcek, Vasher, etc...

His back is messed up and I think he's scared to get his neck hurt since his neck surgery..........I have no problem with that..........but why hold out on your team b/c you want a condtract extension when he already signed it years ago. Hester did the same thing, I hate when players want to renegotiate their contract b/c they overplayed their contract and then they get the big pay day and start slacking off..........I love the way their restructuring new contracts.

Performance incentives are the way to structure contracts nowadays.....

You don't see teams asking money back from players for not playing up to their contract, so why do the players have the right to hold the team hostage b/c they've outplayed their contract.

At least Briggs is showing up.

How do you figure that "you don't see teams asking money back from players for not playing up to their contract"? You see teams cut them, then sign them for less. Seems to me that it's pretty much the same thing. The problem isn't with the players. It's with the contract rules in the NFL. Don't take the easy way out by blaming ONLY the players. Ownership AND the players created this mess in collective bargaining.
