Penn State overcomes muddy field and second half surge to defeat LSU in 2010 Capital One Bowl

If Penn State was supposed to have trouble with the SEC speed of LSU, they can thank Mother Nature for pouring rain on a field that was hosting its second bowl game in four days for creating a surface that would slow down the Tigers.

I was at the game and although it was very exciting, the field was in the worst condition I ever have seen in my 50 years of watching sporting events. Between the 20's it looked like No Man's Land on a WWI battlefield! But the Lions persevered and won a very well played football game! Way to go Joepa!!!
