<quoted text>OSU will beat an SEC team before UF has the guts to play Miami and win? Well OSU didn't beat an SEC team this year and UF WILL play and beat the Canes next year! Take it to the bank! And you have the nerve to bash an OSU fan for questioning a ref's call when you guys are still whining about a call that was made years ago? Get over it! That game is done, just like the Canes!
How soon the Gator fans forget that they are just a couple of years removed from a coaching change and embarrassment over losing twice to the Canes and their rejected QB. Sure, you MIGHT finally win one game in the past 20 years against Miami, just like BC got their second win against us and their first since Hail Flutie, but for you to think the Canes are "done", shows you know NOTHING about recruiting, rebuilding, or the Canes. Keep your measily two titles, your Gator Flop, Pell, Hall, Zook, and all their cronies, you will always be Chicken Gators for only scheduling Miami at home, when you are 20 point favorites, and avoiding Miami unless we are on probation. Have fun if you get that fluke win, but if Tebow buckles, and the Canes D comes through like it has in the past, I for one will not be surprised that your overconfidence was your downfall, again.

If Ohio State is the "class" of college football, then I guess the SEC is the "dean".
0-9 against the SEC. If the SEC is full of ex-cons, then I guess Ohio State's team is filled with washed up prison guards. Bow down to the SEC and face reality.

Don't blame the Gators for the fact that Miami can't even stay competitive in the ACC and will be heavy underdogs against UF. But it sounds like you've got all your excuses ready to go if UF beats Miami. By the way, why is anyone talking Canes football on a article about UF and OSU? The topic of this post is about teams that are actually relevant right now, not UM.

Are the Canes on probation now or the following year? And if the D comes through? You mean like this past season? You're living in the past and you know it! Good luck though.......you'll need it! Another 5-7 season is right around the corner for your beloved Canes! Gotta give you credit, you stand behind your team no matter how bad they are....and they are bad!

It's sad (not really) to see how far the Canes have fallen, and in turn, how their fans are stuck clinging to the national championship game against Ohio State. The Canes of old would have been right back near the top the following year, and all the UM fans would have forgotten about the so-called debacle.
But since the football program at Miami is circling the drain, all the loyal M fans (all 10 of them) can do is bitch about the officiating in that game, unable to turn the page.
Say what you want about that game, but the Buckeyes hit Miami in the mouth, and the Canes couldn't take it. Also, as far as the pass interference penalty that should or should not have been called, I always maintain that if Miami would have covered Michael Jenkins on that 4th and 14, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. End of story.
