If it's true Brady's agent cut his throat with his contract. If it's true, if Brady starts 7 games then he gets an $11,000,000 bonus. With him struggling and being about equal with Anderson, why would the Browns give him starting time to improve. This also may limit the ability to trade him. Too much greed.

We fans are most of the problem!!! We moan and groan, complain and throw fits everytime they lose!!! We demand for heads to roll!!! When the owners comply, we complain some more and blame everyone else!!! What do we expect!!! The difference between our winning seasons and our last 10 years is consistency!!! We do not allow a coaching staff enough time to develop a team.... How many coaches have we had in the last 10 yrs??? How many did we have in the 60's??? 70's??? 80's??? Think about it!!!

I hate to see Brady leave, however, I believe his talents are being wasted, so Good Luck to you Brady...go shine some where else.

Mangini is only interested in bringing in his people. Brady is not one of his guys, too bad. Andersen fits the "has been" "slug" mold of the Mangini regime

if mangini and the browns trade quinn there idiots, brady need a chance, but with cleveland who knows, hes better off out of here!!! once again bradshaw even wanted to know how mangini got his job,,, the man is not head coach material,, dont let mangini destroy whats left of the browns bring in cowher 2010.

really big news!!! please, who really cares. da has been a better qb the entire time. there was a reason he fell in the draft and now we all now see why. the browns gave up way too much. now typical browns style, trade while value is low!

They should get rid of him. He is clearly not an NFL QB.

In the 2 games that Anderson started we had running backs rush for over 100 yards each game. Did that happen in ANY of the 3 games Quinn started...NO! Thank you offensive line for making Quinn look so bad. Anderson looks even worse and he manages to do that all on his own. Good bye Quinn and Anderson, hello Colt McCoy!!

This is sad... we had a player who actually DID something for us in Braylon and we were THRILLED to get rid of him, and Brady has done WHAT for us?! We should have ditched him AND DA long ago. Take the QB from Glenville and throw him out there, we might actually win a game... well, win a game worth watching that is!!!!

The Browns have treated Brady Quinn HORRIBLY. WHY isn't he playing now? There has GOT to be something political going in within the Browns organization for him not to be playing.

People complain about him "dinking and dunking". HELLO- he doesn't want to FORCE the ball into coverage ala Derek Anderson. If there's nothing there, then there's nothing there. You can't compare D.A.'s performance against Cincinnati with Brady's against Baltimore, Minnesota, and Denver. If you want to compare "apples to apples", then in the same Baltimore game, D.A. threw THREE interceptions. He showed his true colors there and against Buffalo. And it's NOT all the fault of the receivers.

I suspect that there may be a financial motive in this decision too. HEAVEN FORBID that a Cleveland Sports Team pay a good player and/or allow him to develop into a good player HERE. We seem to be the "farm team" for the rest of the league.

I just have this to say to you, Brady Quinn- you are a CLASS ACT and you have NOTHING to prove to me, or to any other Browns fan with functional grey matter above their tentorium cerebelli. You are a fantastic quarterback and leader and you have, unfortunately, been put into an absolutely AWFUL situation. Maybe the ownership will open it's eyes and dump this other refugee of Bill Bellichick and get you an offensive minded coach who has a CLUE how to call plays- Bernie Kosar comes to mind as a GREAT coach for the Browns. But if that doesn't happen, I hope that you get the chance to play where you are appreciated. Please understand that the majority of the Browns fans support you- and not just because you're from Ohio- because you are a DAMN good quarterback, leader, and person. Best of luck to you, Brady!:)
