Good thing the bears don't need any solid Offensive lineman. If they drafted one now, he would be ready to go in oh, 2 years from now. How many of the bears current lineman will still be any good in 2 years? Maybe 2.

A good GM would be drafting to build the O line for the future. The Bears GM is too busy out smarting himself to do something so basic as build a team. He is in his own words, consumed with levels, players not reaching Angelos perceived value for the pick, whatever that means.

Maybe it means Jerry can't find any valuable players in the draft, Jerrry thinks his draft picks are more valuable than any player he can select, so of course he just wants more draft picks, and no high round players. Instead of optimizing the players he gets for the team, he is optimizing the value he places on the picks the bears have and hoping for a miracle.
This approach to the draft is shortsighted, miserly, and doomed to fail.
