Is Brady Quinn The Answer?

I don't think Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels can definitively tell you the answer to that question.

Brady is a decent quarterback. I would say Orton is a better QB. The answer is not Brady-it is a winning coach! Fire McDaniels! Get some stronger offensive linemen.

I am not to sure about Brady Quinn. I didn't like him when he was drafted, I didn't like watching him play for the browns, and I wasn't happy when I heard the Broncos picked him up. In the span of a week I have to say that he Has impresed me with his positive attitude and his Strong willingness to get familiar with the playbook and the team. I really hope he works out. It is time to get back in the playoffs and win a superbowl. Hopefully Quinn can get us there.

Both Brady and Orton are great guys and excellent Quarterbacks. Personally, I think we have a franchise Quarterback in Brandstater and I don't see what all the fuss is about finding a new one. If he gets traded, that decision will come back to haunt the Broncos. That said, if Brady can put the ball down field further and faster than Orton and his other skills are equal or close to Orton, then I think Brady is the new QB. I really don't like the idea of any one of the three not getting the starting job, so that tells me that Coach McDaniels is doing exactly what he said he is doing and making the position competitive. I think he is doing a great job!

I have to agree with Broncos fan, I like Brandstater and I think he has a bright future in the NFL. I think Mcdaniels see's something in him since he did not cut him but cut Simms instead. I think McDaniels is starting to bring the team together. I am liking what I am seeing!

there's a rumor that pat bowlen is getting ready to sell out and leave this stress behind--especially if things keep coming up negative--has anyone else heard this?

I have heard that Bowlen was diagnosed with dementia last year. I have also heard that he has been talking to his son and started the process or turning the team over to his son. I have heard nothing of him wanting to give up because of the stress, and the negetivity.

What Mcdaniels is trying to do with Quinn is build him into the QB that Tom Brady is...which he helped develop ( along with Weiss who worked with Quinn at ND ) in New England.

I have no problem with Orton except he is NOT a QB who can be down by 12 points and bring the team back.

He can manage the game...but he can't put it all on his back and win.

None of us really know about Brandstater. He might be the future but if McDaniels made this move then we should know that maybe he has another year or two of development.

It was a GREAT trade...and now rather than taking Colt McCoy in the second round we are set at QB and can use all of our picks for defense and OL.

Still wish we could trade Marshall and maybe a 3rd round to Detroit for the 2nd pick and take Suh.

Can you imagine the havoc him and Dumervil would wreak???

All this does is complicate the QB situation- if Orton loses a few games, people will want Quinn, if he bombs, people will want Orton back.
