Oh, please...enough is enough for Brennan. He will be long gone from the Redskins as soon as Zorn is released and that means before the end of the current season.

Brennan has seen his time come and gone and after two mediocre years, please stop sanctifying Brennan as a potential star in the NFL. certainly he is not to be forgotten as a former Warrior star but the past is the past and let it be....getting to be like Michelle Wie...enough is enough.

The latest research peer reviewed by the Academy of Sports Dentistry and a Harvard MGH specialist, suggests a retainer like Mouth guard used in the NFL and with such programs as the University of Texas, should be considered as part of a return to play protocol. One concussion and your six times more likely to have another, this protocol identifies and corrects a known link to the concussion origin. www.mahercor.com

Dave, there is no question that Colt has been one of the greatest athletes for UH. He was a great follow up to Timmy Chang and a program that was just fun to watch, even for non-Warrior fans. Any doubters only have to look at how attendance for the games rose and pride in UH football was at an all time high. In another testament to his impact, I was at the recent UH-UNLV game in Las Vegas and I was amazed at the number of #15 jerseys being sported by the fans. If thats not a testament to his greatness and his impact, I don't know what is.

C'mon Dave, Trent Edwards is starting, don't group him with those other wannabes!!! He's been as consistent as anyone, therefore I have to ask this, what has Colt done in the NFL besides lead the Redskins QB's in surgical interventions?

Mr. Reardon - I, for one, agree wholeheartedly with you. Colt made a huge sacrifice when he decided to return to UH football for his senior year. The naysayers can pooh-pooh all they want but Colt lost his opportunity to start by returning to UH. Of course, we in Hawaii, were the recipients of this decision. He gave us a year that was thrilling, sometimes nail-biting, but great overall. The Sugar Bowl on the side I'm glad he came back. For me, he will always be #1. Hopefully, one day soon, the nation will see what we here in Hawaii were privileged to witness - an athlete with great skills who happens to just be a great guy overall. Bless you Colt and thank you.

The ability to "Shine ON" may soon pass if Mr. Brennan doesn't get some face time soon. He did shine for sure during his time with da warriors, but any Stellar Moments in the NFL have yet to be seen. Hope he is able to "Step Up" soon.

sure, he was the star and a very endearing one. but let's not forget, this is still a team sport. he couldn't have won all those 12-games? remember Dan Kelly? during Latech I believe? without that 1-point win, no Sugar Bowl baby.

Retire #15 for all UH sports? No! Let that student in each sports win that honor.

Graduating with a degree should be enough thanks for Colt to have stayed. Colleges and Universities are intitutes of higher learning, not stepping stones for atheltic careers.

Dave,

Spot on article! I couldn't agree with you more that Colt Brennan gave so much to this State by staying for his senior year. Will going 12-0 be his highlight of his playing career? You would have to ask him but I enjoyed every moment of that miracle season.

Get well Colt and looking forward to seeing you play on Sunday's!

Hawaii "owes" Colt? huh?!!?
Who again took the chance after Colt's experience in Colorado? Where else would Colt have gotten a chance to play in the NFL if it were not for JJ & UH?

Moron? What an obnoxious reponse. Colt Brennan did not write this article. If you are ND Alice, you are setting new standards for moronic respones.

Unfortunately, I agree that if Zorn is fired, Colt will probably be released after this year unless he really lights it up the next preseason. I don't know if anyone else but Zorn had been "protecting" Colt. Maybe it'll also depend on what, if anything happens to Jason Campbell.
I do believe though, that another will pick up Colt for sure. Having said that, I think he'll be the 2nd man at best unless some set of circumstances allows him to get real playing time and he takes advantage of it. Most of us are hopeful that this comes true

Eh motormouth, show some respect for the best QB to have played on any WAC football field.
Now as for you who never played a sport, the only thing you know is playing with yourself, and you still prematurely lose. lol.

I been saying and arguing this point the day he elected to come back for his senior season! Thanks Dave for this article! Like Ashley leilie and Pisa before him.. after his junior season Colt's stock was at its highest and most of his flaws were still hidden.. I honestly thought he was stupid for not going! But what he did for this state that season going 12-0 is pricless and the casual football fan do not realize the huge sacrifice he made financially..
