Any restored relationship will only happen after Favre stops beating them twice every year and TT is gone from the organization.

for Favre to stop beating them,he actually has to play them first! I do agree Ted will have to be gone, but,Favre will actually stop acting like a spoiled brat and grow up as well.

Wonder who it was this time that pulled the stake out of Favrula's heart causing him to rise from the grave? Tom Packers from the PP? Last season, it was Turd Thompson & McMuffin in GB.("Tampering" Etc. etc.) Interesting how when somebody in The Vikings org. says that they're always looking to improve, and that they look at anybody qualified, including Favre, and every other player in the NFL is excluded by the press EXCEPT for Favre. It's just the way the press twists the story to make it more "interesting". Like yesterday's Greenway story: ALOT of people are wondering if Favre DID "come back", would it be just to try to exact "revenge" upon certain people in GB? Obviously last season the org. in GB thought so. That's why they structured his release the way they did. So Greenway says that he'd wonder about his loyalty to the team, instead of a personal thing. It gets made into: "Greenway insults Favre". Etc. etc.- It's all just a press thing.$h!thouse writers doing what they can for stories by twisting a few words, "losing" some along the way, and even "inventing" their own "quotes". For intance: WHO associated with The Vikings or BF ever said that they were "having lunch" or "a meeting was/is scheduled"? "Childress is flying down to Mississippi to meet Favre"? Etc. etc. BF's agent says he knows nothing about any of it. The Vikings don't say it. The players know nothing about it. Yet ESPN, Yahoo, Fox, Etc. etc. know all of the intimate details, don't they? BAH!- What a crock of $h!t...

Eric, I didn't know this, but Jim Marshall(all time leading rusher) hasn't had his number retired yet? Don't know much history about him, but I think he had some issues with the Packers and the fans still hold a grudge against this guy. How long do ya think Green Bay fans will hold a grudge against Favre if he plays for the Vikes?

You have to think revenge is a big part of it,althugh his ego wont let him go the way he screwed up NY the last games.I think it will be a long while before things are well between the 2 ( BF and GBP)

No, I didn't just figure it out. It's just that when you read some posts, a person feels that you have to spell it out sometimes, because there's a surprising lot of people that take these things as the next nearest thing to Gospel. That's all. I think McMuffin was & is over-rated. He's not a bad coach, IMO. Just over-rated. TT I don't like. GB? Well, let's just say as a Viking fan, I like them about as much as a GB fan likes MN.

If Favre joins the Vikings, he'll be sticking it to the Packer fans. They won't forget....they really, really hate the Vikings....it would be a slap in the face of the most loyal fans on the planet! Who's to say the Vikings would beat the Packers if Favre is in purple? The motivation would with the Green....the Vikes would get demolished!

Except Green Bay's defense sucks and so does their O-line, in case you've missed the entire offseason. Vikings sweep the packers this year, easily. With or without #4.

Granted, it was mostly the press, and some select talking heads, that created the Favrenstein monster. But there's a bunch of fans that lapped it up and added to it.- Without all of the tacked-on bull$h!t, yeah, BF deserves to be a future HOF'er. No doubt. But there's ALOT of reasons to be wary of signing him to MN.: 1) He's a $h!tty "mentor". 2) He's too enthusiastic about himself, as opposed to whatever team he plays for. 3) The pukes mentioned above will credit him for EVERYTHING.(GB fans ought to know what that's like: BRETT FAVRE & the packers. BRETT FAVRE leads his packers to victory...etc.) 4) He might very well use it for a "vendetta thing". Making it "personal". 5) His body will probably break down at the worst time due to age. Yes. He's better at reading defenses than any QB here, no doubt. But he's been waffling on the retirement thing for a long time, and he STILL is an INT machine.- All that said, yes he's a future HOF QB. Now keep his as-s down on the farm, and away from here! Time for him to $h!t-can the playing now. He's too old for it anyway.

Agreed forget about him, give Sage a try, dont need his pics to put more pressure on the defense, they shoulder enough pressure as it is. As far as Brett's legacy with the Fudge is concerned, its surely tarnished and will be more if he ever decides to become a Vike. Skol Vikings Skol!!!

You know whats funny? The Packers can sell out 1000 tickets for a Packers tailgate party in less than a day in a town thats not 30 minutes from the heart of so called "vikings territory." Meanwhile, the vikings struggle to sell out home playoff games. My god what a sorry excuse for a franchise
