Watchout for Bishop

The experts have the Green Bay Packers listed as needing an outside linebacker as one of their top off-season priorities.

I haven't seen that much of Bishop, but Poppinga doesn't seem to strike fear in opponents.

Good Morning PRoball,,,,good morning everyone.....Desmond Bishop is a very good special teams player,i know that,but he hasnt played alot at LB,but,in preseason,he kicked some ass,and i like this kid,so hell give him a shot.Poppinga is good but nothing great,so Bishop how is faster,might be the ticket.

you know how when you we're a lil'' kid and you picked teams did you pick out of favoritism our did you pick the best player. back when i was a kid we played tackle football at the park not flag,not touch..but real hitting it was alot of fun....so to see the way desmond play's compared to the backers greenbay has desmond would be my first pick and had i not picked him i wouldn't want to be on the reciving end ....if you know what i mean.......but i see greenbay mgt dosen't want to look like fools...so either you can look like a fool or you can be a fool and stay a fool..figure it out......... i'm sure dom capers we'll see it for what it truely is and play the players he need's to win

The latest is that Barnett will be an every down LB on the inside and that Hawk and Chillar will split time on running and passing plays at the other inside spot. That makes Bishop the odd man out again.

I'm just repeating what's coming out of Green Bay. Who knows what will end up happening. My point is that the LB unit is still in flux. There's only one preseason game left and the starters usually play very little in this game. We all need to keep our fingers crossed that the LBs and coaching staff will adjust "on the fly" so to speak.

im thinking they have some quality there,its just a matter of finding the right combo and i wouldnt be suprised if Ted searches the waiver wire and picks up a vet or 2 as an upgrade to the depth.
I think we will be just fine!

well i guess gb just like's medioore players.because there starting lb's SUCK...i blame mg and coaching..there the softest bunch i've ever seen no hitting what so ever......dammm.no team in the nfl should have no reason no to run agiants this group....shit a lb is supposed to put sumthin on yo ass so you'd have secound thoughts about running the ball whenever desmond is in the game you can feel his hits through the tube what the fuck......yeah i'm upset evertime i watch them play gb lb act as if there playing touch or flagg football.....this is some bullshit...i don't care f your playing 3-4 or 4-3 the staring group are pussies...then you watch there interviews and they come off as if there so tough....bulshit

Yeah, that is why they held AP to under 100 yards and where was Marion Barber last week? Frank Gore will find out real soon how these LB's are so weak. You need to pay attention more if your gonna post on a GB site. Matthews may get D rookie of the year. Benson is the only RB who had a good game against them, but he has done that to Pittsburg also, and not to mention Balt. This LB core is one of the best in the league, are you watching last years games?
