Why doesn't Mangini or Tannenbaum simply release a kicker to make room for Clowney. It seems ridiculous to keep 2 kickers on the roster when a speedster like Clowney could make a big difference to Favre. But, I'm not the resident 'genius' running the Jets.

I think this is a really stupid decision not playing Clowney. Give Favre a receiver who can get down the field. This is a no brainer.

david clowney did look good in training camp and the 1st two preseason games.granted it was only pre-season but lets get him activated and give him a chance in real action,see what he can do. kid is fast.com e on mangini, be a man. give favre a deep threat.
