I'll be surprised if the Vikings Swiss cheese o-line doesn't get Favre killed by the 8th week of THIS season.

With the inability of our offensive line to protect the QB for ANY length of time, Favre won't last that long. And no QB is going to want to play here just to get the crap beat out of them on EVERY play.

from a Packer fan - enjoy this season and don't think about whether Favre will be playing next season. He is playing well right now and could help take the Vikings to the Super Bowl this year but regardless of how well he plays, you should expect the annual offseason drama in the spring. Whether it's indecision or narcissim, it is a part of Brett.

This is interesting, but Favre won't make it through this year with all the hits he is taking. Talk about next year is just speculation. What will happen when we get to the meat of our schedule? Yikes.

Funny how when Brett is getting hit a ton it's the O-Line that is the issue. But when T-Jack or anybody else was back there it was their fault for not getting rid of the ball...

Either way the O-line need/s/ed to step up.

Special teams looks like they are making progress, but they are still giving up TDs

he looked good in NY for half a season too. Get your Geritol ready folks, he's a physical train wreck just waiting to happen, just ask Mangini. Then again don't, he might not tell you.

...I don't know what game some of you saw yesterday, but the one I saw with the nail-biter touchdown went something like this...QB Favre made a tremendous throw under a lot of pressure with PLENTY of time to pick a target.....Greg Lewis made a catch that simply only comes a very few times over an entire career...the headlines and attention go to Favre and he so characteristically "aw shucks" his way to the press...it's the O-Line's fault???...hardly...you get a lot more pressure w/ stunts when you have a 39 yr old QB, wake up...it's not even October and there's talk of NEXT season?...better set the snooze alarm...

As for the win...way to go TEAM.

Nah the O-line was always the problem.

Difference between Favre and T-Jack is that Favre gets rid of it intelligently or tucks in the ball and takes the hit. T-Jack would either fumble or just throw it at the nearest person with no regards to the color of their jersey.

And I hate that I'm sticking up for Favre.

Kecker, I can tell you aren't a huge Favre fan, and that is cool. I am a big Favre fan myself. I just want to say I appreciate your intelligent comments on here. I agree that the O line is pretty god awful, aside from Hutchinson. I think McKinnie is the biggest problem. I happen to think if they blocked better the play action would start to work so well and we would be shredding teams with deep balls after good AP runs.
