I would LOVE it if the Hawks signed Hass... he can't do any worse than our current bunch and he has a rep for always catching the ball (unlike C. Taylor who has bricks for hands?? why is he on the roster??)

Please Seattle... Sign Hass, at least we will have something to cheer about, and who knows... he just might be the next Engram.

listen to luke
his huskies/cougars had to deal with Mike for four years as he ran all over em'. there was never a CB that could cover this kid and the only reason he aint gettin a shot in the NFL is cuz he is white. in preseason both of the passes thrown to him were caught for TD's. watch some hass highlights and you'll see tht he never drops it and he catches the passes that look impossible.

Actually Hass only played for 3 years. If he had played for 4, statistically, he would have set every record in ncaa history. otherwise, I agree with risky on every point. Hopefully practicing with the Bears has helped his run blocking which was his only weak point imho. Go Hawks!

P.S. They signed him.:D

Mike is an incredible catch. I played with his dad and his uncle's and they are all gamers.
The work ethic and enthusiasm are not just luck...certainly the "gene" factor is there.

I'm a Bears fan, and I'm hoping Mike Haas gets to play in Seattle. In the preseason with the Bears, he caught every pass thrown to him in 2007. I felt Chicago's coaching staff never gave him the opportunity to play. The problem the Bears had with him is that he couldn't play on the Special Teams.
For a league that claims they want good guys to play, he's the real deal. I hope he breaks a bunch of records in Seattle and makes our front office and offensive coaches look like a bunch of asses.

Sun Devil fan here. Hass tore up ASU. Same thing for every other team in Pac-10--Hass, Hass, Hass. Nobody could stop him, even when everyone knew where OSU was going. Best Pac-10 receiver of his time, and I use to watch all the Pac-10 games on FOX. Kicker is that he had to walk-on at OSU after a fab HS career. He'll prove all the critics wrong in the NFL if he gets a chance. Latest snippet from minicamp, "The play of the day came from wide receiver Mike Hass, who got behind cornerback Kevin Hobbs and safety Jordan Babineaux and caught a long pass from backup quarterback Seneca Wallace." Yeah, yeah, too sloowwww.... to smallll.... too WHITE?, just like Largent and Welker.
