Was anybody else creeped out by all the people walking around with Roethlisberger jerseys today. I had panic attacks constantly out of fear of rape.

Really? I get more creeped out when someone is wearing a Ray Lewis jersey (especially children) or a Donte Stallworth jersey. Just hope I don't get knifed or run over by their vehicle since those two criminals were actually charged with murder and aggravated assault for Ray Ray and DUI and second degree manslaughter for Donte. Also have to watch my dog for anyone wearing a Michael Vick jersey.

I have yet to read anywhere that Roethlisberger was ever charged with anything at all so I don't understand why people would be creeped out by people wearing his jersey.

First of all, my comment was to "Can Hunter" who obviously thought the people in the story would "divorce" if one team beat the other.
Marry my son....where the heck did you get that in my comment????? And since you don't know me, you obviously do NOT know that I am without a doubt my children's biggest fans.....they are two of the most wonderful people I know in the whole world. I meant that statement as a joke as well (to Can Hunter)...that it would be like similar situation. Get a grip people...this is merely a game, good nature, rivalry and supposed to be fun, not life or death. Some people are taking this way too far accusing teams of cheating, band-wagon and such...
May the best team win today, may there be good sportmanship and conduct shown throughout the game!!!
Yes, many people take it too seriously. Some people take it so seriously they can't recognize a joke.

NOBODY thinks people will divorce because of the outcome of a football game. NOBODY thinks that people would disown family members over the outcome of a football game.

BTW the game is over and the GREEN BAY PACKERS won. Should I be shocked that nobody in your family has been disowned? Or should I assume you were joking just the same as Can Hunter was joking? You seem to be the one that needs to get a grip.

I could be wrong. We'll find out for sure when we see the follow up story about the divorce. Don't hold your breath.

Are you saying people should admire Ben's conduct because other people may have done bad things also? Or are you saying Ben didn't rape anybody unless he is convicted of rape? Are we all required to admire O.J. Simpson because he wasn't convicted? I used to love watching O.J. play football and I still believe he was a great running back. I'm not impressed with him as a person. Plenty of people feel the same about Ben.

Since you admit that you get creeped out when you see people wearing the jersey of OTHER players, you should understand that some people have a similar reaction about wearing Ben's jersey.

Convicted is not the same thing as charged. I said Ben was never charged with any crime. Ray Lewis, Donte Stallworth, and OJ Simpson were all charged with a crime meaning there was enough evidence against them to bring criminal charges. If there wasn't even enough evidence to charge Ben how can anyone say he raped anyone? These were unfounded claims by gold digging women.

Worthless? 2 Super Bowl rings isn't worthless in my opinion. Not losing to the Ravens (the main rival in the division) since Dec 2006 is not worthless in my opinion.

2nd best team in the NFL isn't bad. Best team in the AFC isn't bad. I'd sign up for that every year if I could.

Charged, convicted, accused, sued, settled out of court. None of those things has anything to do with whether a person did something or not. Obviously, the NFL didn't care. I understand that you want to believe there is an important difference. There isn't. People will judge Ben based upon what they know. People don't ignore what they know simply because a person like Ben has the ability to pay problems to go away.

Many people are judged without being convicted. The personal conduct of people is routinely judged. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Michael Jackson, Lance Armstrong, Michael Phelps, Mel Gibson, Michael Richards, Bill Clinton, Governor Mark Sanford, Britney Spears, and many others have been judged on their personal conduct without being convicted of anything. Many of them have been criticized and judged with regard to conduct that didn't result in criminal charges. That is how the world works. Whether you approve or not is irrelevant. Ben Rothlisberger is no different than anybody else. His actions have consequences. BTW non-famous people are judged the same way, except by fewer people.

What is your point idiot? Are you saying that if some people were falsely accused of rape that NOBODY that is accused of rape has commited rape? It sounds like you are that stupid! Fricking grow up and accept the fact that many people see Ben Rothlisberger as a rapist. The NFL sees Ben that way and most sane people agree.
