My favorite Stillers are Ben and Jerry. All other Stillers get to wake up as nothing more than losers on this fine Monday morn.
Aguilera? Fail.
Black-Eyed Peas? Fail.
A-Rod? Fail.
Ruthless Booger? Fail.
Cheer up. Ya still got Crosby.
Yes, we do. And I believe you have a professional hockey team in Columbus, right? Only the name escapes me...what was it? I know I heard something about them once.

I am a Steeler fan by choice and I am old enough to remember the Steel Curtain teams. I agree with your assessment of the Steeler franchise, but I totally disagree with you regarding Roethlisberger. He is a great quarter-back and he is the best fit for the Steelers. The word team encompasses all of the players, playing as a unit and Roethlisberger is an integral part of that team. There are other great quarterbacks in the NFL, but there aren't many that would fit in with the Steelers. If you are talking football, then judge a player by his abilities. It's time to move on and find something else to talk about instead of last year's news. I live in Ohio and I will always cheer for the Black & Gold. Congratulations to the Packers for a great Super Bowl win!

Still waiting for that logical response. BTW, nice spelling.

Is that what you call "riled up?" No, that was a polite response.

And your ISP says Columbus, friend. Not "Cowlumbus"--though if you've been dating women there, I can understand the slip.

Yes, they do occasionally manage a solid win, even though this one was essentially against the Penguins' AHL affiliate. Maybe if they can manage to win a playoff series you'll remember they exist next time you post.

Oh, so you DO know their name after all.

Typical whining from a guy whose fake name sounds like a porn star. I knew you'd cry about Crosby and Malkin. Like no other NHL teams have injuries.

Who's crying about injuries? Its part of the sport and the challenge to get the cup or trophy. Injuries are unfortunate, but you have to go with the best able bodies on the team.

Malkin is out, so we will move forth and hope he gets healthy for the next campaign.

RRR-R-R-R-REX was, when he was trying to belittle the CBJ's win last night by calling the Pens "essentially an AHL team" in reference to Malkin and that other guy...y'know, the one with the giant lips...being out last night.

Biff, you obviously understand the rigors of an NHL season better than RRR-R-R-R-REX. I wish your team well in the playoffs and hope that mine is able to even get there.

Not whining, just pointing out that the "karma" of my belittling the Blue Skirts probably had less to do with their win than the absence of not only Crosby and Malkin, but Letestu, Asham, Kunitz and Comrie. But you're welcome to your little delusions! You don't know what I'm talking about down in the Land of the Lumbering Cows, because losing any six Blue Jackets and replacing them with AFL guys wouldn't affect the quality of the team one way or another.

I realize, of course, that depth is an important part of team strength, which is why I never whine about injuries. The Pens have the best GM in the game, fortunately, so they'll continue to win more games than not in the coming weeks, during which time everyone but Malkin will be coming back.

Nice change of screen name there. The funniest thing is that YOU were unaware you had a hockey team in Columbus.

I'm "Go Back." Don't know who Dirk is and don't care if you believe it or not. I DO care that your repeat-offender, borderline criminal goon Cooke only got 4 games for his thuggery. ESPN was right: he should have gotten 6 to 8.

I don't completely disagree with you. I would have suspended him myself. He IS a repeat offender, but not merely a goon. He actually is pretty skilled--given the team's recent spate of injuries, he was what was passing for a 1st-line winger, and doing an okay job of it. Hitting hard and agitating is his game, and most teams have players to fill that role. Cooke, though, plays with a dangerous recklessness, and I'm glad he's being reined in. I hope it sinks in.

I may have misjudged you, Mr. Steelman. Perhaps you're not entirely unreasonable.

You still have Stiller stink on you though.:)
