It would be nice to keep the Vikes in Minnesota where they belong. Los Angeles Vikings doesn't quite have the same ring to it as THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS. GO VIKES!!! GET RID OF CHILDRESS ASAP!!!

Jeebs wrote: <quoted text> oops, i didnt mean to put him at a C. i meant a D-. i wouldnt give an F just because i think he is still a good coach. i really havent liked his playcalling or substitions so far this year. like not giving the ball to adrian peterson at all in the 4th quarter against tampa bay, not giving chester taylor enough carries this year, not putting sidney rice out on the field enough, and he has had some bad playcalling this. kind of like going with play action on 4th and 2 against the bears. i say give him another year and if we dont at least get into the playoffs, then he should be gone. Give Childress another year????!!!! You can't be serious. This team should have the North Division wrapped up. They have twice the talent of Green Bay and Chicago and they barely are keeping their head above water. I wouldn't give this guy tomorrow's practice much less another year.

Who is the real head coack of the Minnesota Vikings? Childress or his staffers? Peterson is the Vikings main offensive weapon. He needs to be on the field regardless of the situation, PERIOD! Tired of "Clueless" Childress and "Arrogant" Frerotte always making excuses about the situation. The offense needs to run through Perterson! Get him more involved in the two minute offense, DUH! Get an Offense Coordinator who actually knows how to design plays for situations and knows how to get his star player in on all situation. Remember Randy Moss? He was in most of the time, even if it was as a decoy! It still made the defense have to be concerned about him. But not in Minnesota. No way! We plan our game around what the other team wants to do and that is win! The Vikings have proved after 2.5 years that Childress isn't going to take the team anywhere but tease them season after season. While I would embrace "big chin" as their next head coach, he is a defensive coach. Hopefully they can bring in a guy who actually does something to design a powerful offense! YOU ARE WASTING A ADRIAN PETERSON, GET IT??!!

I say the Vikes go after some "road-graders" in the draft and FA, dump the West Coast (along with Childress) and start pounding the ball down the opposing teams throats. McKinnie and his big contract need to go. Cook needs to move to G where he can have help. Get Sullivan off the bench, let Birk retire or move on.
Make a play at Cassel in the offseason if he's available,(I know, he's very Green, but he's mobile, and has a GUN for an arm, two things our current QB lacks). Make an offer to the Patriots OC (Josh McDaniels?), who knows how to use Cassel, and get thing thing turned around.
With the right coach, and QB, I could see a few games this year that would have had a different outcome.

The Queens will move to LA and I will tell exactly why.....Zygi IS A BUSINESS MAN......he knows MONEY....not football and well, that much I think we can all agree on...any dumass knows that if you really want a stadium here give the fans a winner and we will come...give us this arrogant dichead and well, you get nothing....and like it. If Zygi really wanted to stay here and have a new stadium built he would have listened to us fans and got rid of this useless piece of crap who calls himself coach and replace him with someone who actaully knows something about football but clearly Zygi has intentions of doing so. ALl he sees are dollar signs, hence Klink stays and the Queens are on the way out....stop going to games and buying team crap and hit this absentee owner in the wallet, it is the ONLY thing he understands, football , obviously , well he doesn't know a touchdown from a homerun....

That is exactly why Ziggy will not fire Klink. Its alot easier to move a loser with low fan support than a winner. This is all part of his plan. Just wait and see. There is no way that a man of Wilf's business intelligence would put up with Klink for any other reason. Except to get what he wants the vikings in L.A. Mad Dog Bichon wrote: Don't get too attached to this team...LA is getting a privately funded stadium to be completed 2011. They're looking for a spot for an NFL team to play while it's being finished, probably the Collisium. www.losangelesfootballstadium.com The Vikings and the Charges are the only two NFL teams without a decent stadium and/or stadium deal. Look for the NFL to work with the LA investment group to get things rolling with one of the two teams. Money talks! Bull **** walks!

What a coach, Ive been watching the Vikes since 1968! Its been nothing but Bi-polar depression since Bud Grant left! Clink is the perfect name for present coach! Lets keep a mediocre Quarterback in there with a facial expression of clinically brain dead to get the teams spirits high! Then have him not spread out the defense with lots wide recievers & completely telegragh the handoffs to Adrian with all the defense in the middle!& put a fullback in front of him to help plug his holes! Then pull the best & most wanting of yardage player in the league, on their biggest plays. He Dont even look like a coach! ZygiZag wrote: Wonder if they put coaches grade up on the boards? Staff continues to use a FB when AD works beter without one. 2 TE & 2 WR best or 2 WR 1 TE and AD & CT are the best major formations. Continues to use a lot of zone blocking which gets rids of an advantage on the left side. Wade on a go route? Continues to use few designed cutback plays though many of them work for AD. Continues to not use both AP and CT in the same backfield as a major formation even though the defense.--- NOTE TO ZYGI make sure Bud Grant is with you in the interviews and ask all the new head coaches being interviews what they would do with the personel they have right now.---- 09 NEEDS Head Coach, Offensive Head Coach, 1QB, 2QB, RT, Kick returner, Corner.--- It could be worse it could be next year with Chilli (I would be surprised to see his mentor fired too.)

Zygi Wilf wrote: Hi guys! Thanks for all of your input! I realize I made a terrible decision to hire Childress 2+ years ago. I have read the posts, I want to inform you that I will be firing Childress at the end of the season. What was I thinking? Jeepers, what a terrible decision, huh!!! Oh well, I was just such a young pup newly into the football business. Such a fun time! Actually, to be honest, I think I was hypnotized by Chilly's boring, monotone talk. I remember his interview, vaguely, he kept talking about leprechauns .. and unicorns .. and English literature quotes. It was lost on me, that's for sure! Boy was I bored!!! BOOORRRIINNNGGG 8 hour interview I can tell you that much! I just wanted to order some nachos! I can only imagine his speeches to these football players. I bet they don't understand any of his silly non-football references. That's funny to think about, huh! Well, thought I would let everyone know where I stand. You know, I really liked Hogan's Heros growing up. I think maybe I hired him because I loved Klink so much .. yeah, that's probably why I hired him. It's funny, looking back, what a silly reason to hire a football coach! I'm so wacky sometimes. Just look at my fuzzy eyebrows and mustache! I am just plain wacky sometimes, aren't I?!? Sometimes I think I look like a Mr. Potato Head. Just because my hair is so bushy and wacky! Well, Viking fans, enjoy the rest of the year! See you at the ball games!!!!!! thatz too funny
