i hate the sudden death way that they do it now. i have one of two solutions id like to see happen 1) they play the entire overtime quarter, or 2) at least allow the other team to receive the ball and match what the opponent did.. sort of college style but with a regular kick off instead of putting it at the 30 or 25 or whatever..

Evidently Goodell just realized that kickers today are extremely accurate from 40+ yards thus having the ability to end a game without the opposing team ever having an opportunity to touch the ball. That seems one-sided and definitely favors the team that wins the toss.

i agree with parcells, i mean you pay the defense great amounts of money to play, so why cant they play well in ot? Thats what they get payed to do, stop offenses, get the ball back. I see where the trend is leading in ot. but i am a strong believer in defense, reguardless what quarter you playin.
