Although I enjoy the meaning of the Chistmas holidays, I think Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...not too commercialized, not too political, and a good respite from a bad economy and hectic work environment. In addition to the traditional thanks, I do thank the NFL for continuing to feature the Lions. Evokes a lot of memories. The Cowboys joined the Thanksgiving game tradition only becuase of schedule advantages...not tradition. Remember the +/- 1970 game in the snow when the Vikings lateraled for a touchdown. Don't remember who the players were though. That said, Im pulling for the Lions as an underdog. I wouldn't want to see the Vikes be the first to lose to those guys......hey... one other prediction. I see another Head Coach with one of those standard issue, out-of-the box cop mustaches heading to Minnesota. Yep... Andy Reid next year. Will probably bring Donovan with him. Happy Thanksgiving all.

Being that I'm Canadian, I'd still think that your turkey day is one of my favorite day's of the year. To sit back and feast on football from noon till midnight, about a dozen of friends and I always book this day off work and we get together for a day of non-stop parting and some good eats.I'd like to take a minute to reflect on what the NFL is serving to all us Vike fans starting Sunday night,ROASTED BEAR with some Caralinian CHEESE CURD'S and to follow that up with some diced-up LION-Skunk.See you all come play-offs.

At least Chilly is enjoying his high paying job.
Seems he has little company though.

Enough with them predictions already.First of all we don't want Reid or his pathetic QB,they've all resided in Chilliville at one time or another & secoundly I live twenty minutes south of Detroit and could give two sh!!ts about them Lions. Love to see them go 0-16 and if you were any kind of fan you'd know that we own their sorry a$$es.

Chilly should be thankful he isn't coaching this way in Philly. He'd have to wear a disguise to walk the streets. In Minnesota (nice), he isn't even looked at. I mean if you're going to elect freakin Al Franken for the love of God, you must be near comatose. Don't get me wrong, I love MN. My family is from there. Don't keep buying tickets until this clown is gone. My annual trek up north for a game is on hold.

What these Vikings are thankful for this season is they play in such a horrible division. If you think this team is playoff quality you are dilusional.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
